Only one worn out towel was provided until I asked for another ‼️Shower curtain did not hold back water and water overflowed onto floor! My friend was attacked by mosquitoes in his room! My other friend had no hot water! Owners need to do some tremendous upgrades!

The hotel is colonial experience and and staff is friendly and excellent. Yet the owner is neglecting repairs to the property. I only had cold water for my showers. My friebd hot massive mosquito bites in his room. I would not recommend a stay to others.

Mosquitos everywhere! Water in bathroom sink functioned poorly. Shower has no liner so water was all over the floor in puddles creating mosquito nests! Ceiling water leaks in the hallway. The staff was excellent, it’s not their fault. It’s the hotel owner that needs to make structural improvements to the building! I DO NOT recommend you stay here!

NO WIFI, NO HOT WATER, NO PARKING Breakfast starts late My rental car got towed when parallel parked outside of this property. The police notified the hotel twice. I was the only guest. All they had to do was call up to my room or knock on my door and I could have moved the car. A total nightmare. Other things... curtains broken, bed uncomfortable. I was trying to support a local business, have spent years in Mexican accommodations, this was terrible.

It's a nice comfortable hotel, at Querétaro's downtown. Staff was very kindfull.

I did not stay and requested a refund but I did not get a refund. The propert was not what they advertised at all. I was given a room with a small window. It felt like a cell. I was forced to rent a room at another hotel at an extra expense.

It is a lovely hotel. The room was big and clean which is the most important, no ac but hot water even though it is hot in Queretaro. The breakfast was OK, fresh ingredients and friendly stuff. Over all, I wont stay again but for someone traveling on a budget it is a perfect place. I do highly recommend to travel to Queretaro very safe and friendly place.

Staff was great, as were the beds, but the shower was a mess, spurting water all over. Someone at the desk said they were about to replace the showers, and we hope this will happen soon.

Very basic, no frills accommodations. Conveniently located.

Villa del Vilar gave us 2 rooms in the back across from each other, which we appreciated. My room had a fan and a small heater., which I used a couple of times to warm up the room. Lots of hot water, just let it run for awhile. Breakfast is light. Fruit with yogurt, toast & coffee.

Great location. Not perfect, but decent value.

First room was damp, moldy and shared its air with the exhaust of two gas heaters further down the corridor. If this was the UK, the owner would have committed a criminal offence. Personally I don't like breathing traces of carbon monoxide, but each to their own. (although Hotels.com didn't care. NB:- They are happy to phone owners but expect victims to phone them.). - Less serious:- No longer do you get coffee in the room as the coffee makers have all been removed. At breakfast you receive a few tiny slices of fruit with a spoonful of yogurt, 1.5 slices of toast, and coffee. That's it. You are refused more if you have the temerity to ask. The current description is a total lie, hence the title of my review. The 'hotel' is under new cynical, gouging management. Even the pleasant staff are embarrassed. Keep Away.

On arrival, we found the hotel very pleasing to look at, but the room assigned did not have a desk for my computer, so the persons at the front desk upgraded us to a SUITE at the very top of the hotel, complete with desk, refrigerator, in-room coffee, and king size bed. The suite consisted of the bedroom, a sitting room and bath. However, getting to that suite involved about 30 stairs, but what a view from the top. It was a very nice hotel,l and I wouldn't expect the same upgrade another time, but they surely showed some class in my case.

NO respetaron mi reservacion en Expedia , llegué al hotel y ya no había habitaciones , me acomodaron en un hotel a una cuadra pero con incremento de 100, estaba tan cansada que ya no tuve otra opción

Muy sencillo el hotel y bonito, el personal muy amable. No tenía más que una frazada muy delgada no tan bueno para época de frío. No pudimos guardar en el refrigerar insulina porque no había personal y el desayuno es a partir de la 9:00 si te levantas temprano no te toca. En general me gusto pero hay detalles a mejorar.

Muy mal hotel, no hay acceso a wi-fi como lo prometen, instalaciones muy descuidadas con humedad, las camas fatales, es lo más importante para tu estadía y están muy duras o muy aguadas, ahí todas chuecas, el desayuno se sirve en un hotel a varios metros de ahí y muy básico, no tienen cocineras, tienes que estar pidiendo todo en recepción por qué no te proporcionan nada, son muy inaccesibles para cualquier cosa y en la habitación solo te ponen un jaboncito de la marca más barata, muebles viejos, etc.
