the room has paper-thin walls and i could hear the next room. In addition, the structure of the building seems to be not so solid. When a young child was running in the hallway, my bed was moving up and down because the floor was vibrating.

Had to wait 15 mins for someone at the front desk to serve me. When I went upstairs the key wouldn’t work. I told the front desk and he said our key machine is broken. I said how are we going to get in and out of this room he said, “I’m sitting by the front desk”. The mini fridge wasn’t working, I had goods that almost spoilt because of it. The bed sheets also smelt really bad too. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Patio furniture shredded and faded. Corners under bathroom counter not clean. Underside of duvet shredded. Pool water murky over 3 consecutive days with apparently no regular care. Overall disappointing quality for a Holiday Inn Express.

This was a very old hotel and not up to the standards and reputation of a Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was very subpar and the cinnamon rolls were dried out. The hotel was rundown and had odors in the common areas such as hallways, lobby, and dinning area. Would not recommend.

The entire management is terrible. They lie and threaten to call the cops on children enjoying the pool. They were upset that the kids splashed water on the floor of the pool. That's right, the floor. These people are rude and the general condition of the hotel is not good. Towel bars falling off the wall, no room cleaning or change of linens between multiple night stays. Maintenance guy randomly walked into the room unannounced and univited. Bad experience all around. Avoid this place.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably comfortable.Our only complaints is that the carpets are old and smell musty, making the room smell musty even after turning the fan on.

Nice room overall.dont plan on having breakfast as can’t have till 7,had to leave 6:30 so paid for something and had to go to McDonalds for quick sandwich.sadly won’t be back as other hotels let you have breakfast you paid for at 6.

Spent three nights at this location. The bed was comfortable and the location worked well, just off of Michigan Avenue and telegraph Road, but the overall experience was very average. The front desk personnel weren’t always helpful, one night my room key wouldn’t work and I had yo find management with a master key and the breakfast was decent on one occasion and subpar on the other. On the third morning, I skipped it and went out to breakfast myself. Overall, Very basic but adequate.

When I booked, I had chosen to pay when I arrived. Between the time we reserved and when we arrived, we had to cancel our original CC and get a new one. I was expecting to just pay with our new card when we got there. However, when we arrived, I found they had earlier in the day run our card and then canceled our reservation because that card was not good. They did not call us, they did not text just, they did not email us, they just canceled. Why run the card before we even get there? They went on to say they were all booked up so they could not honor the original quote but could book us for over twice the original price. How can you be booked up but be able to offer a room at over twice the price? Sounds like a scam to force people into more costly rooms when they start filling up. During the clerk's conversation with the manager, it was clear they had done this to several other people just that day. Needless to say, we did not stay there.

It was a terrible experience. The first rokm that I aas given had issue with bathroom drain. They offered me a different room after couple of hours of complains. Had to go down to front desk personally as they must be busy and did not pick up the phone! The replacement room they offered had very bad odour ,it became really storng when we turned ON the heater. Kids started snizzing! I had to open the window! ( it was a bit cold out side!) The room service offered me to change room again at midnight!! Which I declined as I had no enerfy to move again with kids and alk luggage! The hotel refused to do any refund and hotels.com only did $50 coupon! I had paid around 300 for the room. It was a wate of money and a terrible experience!
