Fabulous syay

Cedar court is a nice looking hotel (at least from the front) and is a good location - within walking distance (about a mile) to the centre of Harrogate. Parking at the hotel is easy, but it does cost you an extra £10/day, although parking anywhere in Harrogate is costly it would appear. The first room we got was OK - clean enough. Bathroom was a bit tired, but OK. However, the mattress in room 301 was beyond its useful life - completely out of shape and collapsed in the middle, no support for one's back at all. We discovered this fairly late in the evening, so didn't speak to the staff about it till the next day. The man on the front desk wasn't really interested and suggested that nothing could be done in the morning (no-one available as they were all cleaning), and that I should raise the matter later that day, which wasn't really practical as I was going to be out all day and possibly not returning till late. I spoke with him more than once that morning about the mattress as I didn't want him to forget and do nothing about it. As it happened, I was back earlier than expected (late afternoon) to find that this particular man had left for the day and apparently hadn't bothered to pass on the message about the mattress. In contrast to that bloke, the lady on the desk at the time (Eleanor) was very helpful and sorted out an alternative room in about 10 minutes. Wasn't that hard was it? Hopefully they've sacked the bloke involved. The new room was great. Thanks Eleanor!

Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a family room with a sofa bed for the teenager and it was perfect. Breakfast was superb and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful grounds and just a 15 walk into town so perfectly located. Would highly recommend if looking for hotel in the beautiful Harrogate

A fantastic hotel that I highly recommend

Excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room. Communal areas all well presented. However the bedroom could do with a bit of TLC, along with the staff being reminded how to make beds and ensure bedding is free from stains. The single beds (2 out of the 3) had mattress visible under the pillow I.e.the sheets weren't to the top of the bed

Lovely hotel in an ideal location. We had the day at RHS Garden before a 10 minute drive to the hotel. Really friendly staff and parking on site for a small extra fee. Good in Amber's was lovely. Ideally situated for the Harrogate Park run the following morning, right outside the front door. Can't wait to return.

Very disappointed that Blue Badge holders were forbidden to use the disabled parking spaces , as they were reserved for able body conference attendees. Doesn't the government have legislation on this?? We have stayed in a number of hotels in Harrogate, and this is our favourite ( so far).

The room was dirty and there were some other issues - The Front of House Manager and Reception staff are very rude - I don't think that they should work in hospitality.

A lovely stay. Nice room, friendly staff. The dining area was beautiful. We very much enjoyed the breakfasts, and the evening meal was amazing!

I was attracted to the driveway and the room wallpaper when I researched on where to stay in North Yorkshire. I was happy with the room though the garden view was a stretch. We had a great dinner at Amber’s restaurant. The steak was decent though the pork loin was too tough. They did pretty mocktails and I was happy to try the sticky dare pudding ice cream. Not too sweet nor cloying. Good that it was both warm and cold. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Harrogate city centre and Harrogate is a lovely upscale spa town to explore.

Fantastic stay, close to town, a short walk, would recommend

My daughter held her wedding reception at Cedar Court Hotel, Harrogate, and we had a truly wonderful day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, professional and helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The wedding function tipi in the gardens looked beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere for such a special occasion. The food was excellent, well presented and enjoyed by the guests. The service throughout the day was attentive without being intrusive, and the team worked hard behind the scenes to make sure everything went according to plan. The hotel itself is comfortable and well maintained, with ample parking and convenient access for guests travelling from different locations. Accessibility was excellent to, with lifts to each level and accessible toilets just off the entrance foyer. Most importantly, my daughter and her new husband had the fantastic day they had hoped for, and that is something our family will always remember. A big thank you to everyone at Cedar Court Hotel who helped make the celebration so special. We would happily recommend Cedar Court Hotel for weddings and special events.

Lovely room, staff good,, was suppose to have quiet room as upgraded but wedding going on so bit noisy

Disappointing. Booked this hotel due to the free Airport Shuttle Bus. Arrived well within the advised operating hours of the shuttle bus. Called the number given by the hotel to be asvised the number was no longer in operation. Was left stranded at Pearson Airport at 21.30 with no option but to get a taxi which cost $36 to travel less than 2km. Would have been better paying more for a better property. Really dissapointing.

Ideally situated just off the Stray, this is a pleasant newly refurbished hotel with excellent facilities & is a great place to stay in Harrogate. Don’t be put off by the Cedar Court brand -this is way smarter than the Wakefield one.

What a beautiful hotel, lovely large rooms, fantastic food and welcoming and friendly staff.

Great stay at hotel as it a good base for sightseeing Harrogate and other places, short walk into Harrogate and buses run very frequently. Hotel windows could do with nets or blinds and the wind whistled all one night through the window vent. My mattress sagged a bit in the middle and had two lights not working on arrival. On the whole we were happy with our stay and would probably go back.
