friendly and very helpful staff, nice place only average for cleanliness as they are having work done. Would recommend really nice place to stay!

The staff here are the stars of this hotel, incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to assist. Renovation work is ongoing whilst we were there but it didn’t disrupt a great few nights. Warming welcome that never dimmed

Property is dated, but is having some renovation work done. Still Quite a few shabby areas. We picked this hotel for it's advertised amenities, but found the Tennis and golf putting green not available, plus no secure bike lockup, had to leave locked to car. Poor visability on Security camera overlooking car and had to move it to more secure location.

Fantastic breakfast. Family room was spacious and newly redecorated. Unfortunately we didn’t get our room cleaned as the house keeping staff thought we had checked out. Toilet was dodgy. But the fantastic facilities and food definitely outweighed the toilet and housekeeping. Definitely will be back with the family. Thanks for another fab stay.

Just an average stay. Hotel feels rather unloved. Staff seem to be going through the motions rather than engaging with guests. Plenty of nice easy free parking (although its £30 per charge for an electric vehicle). Rooms pleasant but just feel unfinished. Breakfast is good but not had bacon quite so overcooked in a long time. Personally, wouldn't stay again, there are lots of better quality establishments in this price range nearby.

Clean room but did not use the facilities

We were very pleased with our stay. There is a lot of renovation work going on but the hotel is still functioning well. Maybe a couple of the staff on reception could be better trained on check in and check out etticet. Overall good stay

Great for families and dogs! A sprawling complex with a well used leisure area. Could be better managed and cleaned, but OK.

Shannon on reception was exceptional and our room was spotlessly clean anx well serviced.

The room was very good the bed was very comfortable I had a good night's sleep. Shower was very good.

Room was cold and a request for a heater wasn’t actioned until the second day. Food ordered at the bar wasn’t provided even after being followed up. Rooms were booked 9 months in advance but were placed at opposite ends of the hotel. Overall it was an ok experience but lacked in a number of areas to make it a positive review.

Sorry but didn't enjoy this stay as the room was cold and situated in some strange converted building behind the main hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, firstly putting the heating on and then bringing an additional plug in heater, we did not enjoy the room it was too cold, had a roller blind which we had closed permanently due to ground floor location, so overall was very disappointed.

Room 31 was clean and tidy, but the shower was too hot, and a leaking tap. The room we were moved to (127) was also very clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hot tub/jaccuzi could have been warmer. When we went in it was not very warm.

Reception staff member very helpful and pleasant. Room was wonderful, very spacious and super clean. Loved the little extras. Spa facilities lovely too.

Breakfast good,evening meal not great fish very basic,burger a bit raw. My wife hasn’t been well day after.
