Great Staff, excellent location, great dining and breakfast and free parking

Excellent and lovely place

First room allocated was awful being located above the external heat pumps which prevented sleep and with no view at all except over the basement walls. I switched to a room overlooking the sea with a balcony for which I had to pay extra. Staff very helpful but hotel not very full and circumstances could have been different. If I hadn't been able to swap rooms I'd have left after first night. Photo on left is highly misleading as you have to pay a higher rate.

The amenities were very pleasant. The parking spots off site are more than enough. The roof top restaurant was open, the breakfast is open buffet. The city tax was mentioned and requested at the end of the stay. I would have preferred to know about it from the start.

Clean and very welcoming.

Definitely a 4 Star plus hotel (imagine - every day in the elevator you have printed an up to date weather forecast. Great breakfast and reasonable in-room minibar prices.

That would tell was comfortable beautiful views but the hotel was very stingy had one extra coffee for breakfast and I had to pay for it

The Egnatia Hotel is a great place to stay. There is parking just next to it, and the first thing you can't help but notice once parked up is the stunning view over Kavala. Wow. Reception is great, and the lift and landings give the hotel a real old school charm. The room is clean with a massive comfy bed. We were worried about having a room next to a busy road, but the hotel has invested in two lots of double glazing, so a great night's sleep was had by all. The walk down to Kavala central was fine for us (c20 mins), but we opted for a cab back. Cabs are plentiful and ours in the evening was less than 5 euros. Just one observation was that they could have done with more staff on their lovely roof terrace during the evening. Definitely recommended!

Hotel location is not the best as its on top of a very steep hill a good walk from the town although the views are stunning my only complaint is having to pay for pool and spa on top of an already expensive stay.

Our stay was amazing. Everything was perfect. And Lia and Elias were so very kind and helpful to us in finding places. Everyone must know that your hotel is located in a marvelous location, close to so very many things. Yes, there is traffic, but that should be overlooked due to the convenience to so many grand stores and ancient finds. And your CoCo Mat bed was FABULOUS, we went to the store and bought one!

Nice hotel but far from the city center. Wide room but badly organized.

Egnatia Hotel provides quality accomodation and facilites for a 4 star property. Get a room with a sea view and you won't be disappointed with one of the best vistas looking across Kavala to Thassos. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has great food at a reasonable price.

Di facile accesso dall'autostrada, si trova nella parte alta della città, in zona periferica, quindi lontana dal casino. Il centro città è a 5 minuti di strada, quindi facilmente raggiungibile. La comodità di parcheggio contrasta con l'assenza di posti auto nel centro cittadino, quindi se avete un'auto, sicuramente è consigliabile questo hotel rispetto al centro. Il personale molto cortese saprà indicarvi tutti i servizi disponibili in hotel, dalla colazione ai ristoranti alla palestra e alla spa. La camera è ampia e dispone di tutti i soliti servizi. Colazione a buffet molto buona, con vista sulla città sottostante e sul mare. Nella sala ristorante, dove potete fermarvi per gustare anche qualche alcolico o un tè/caffè serale, c'è un caminetto che scalda le gelide notti invernali, molto suggestivo. Per gli appassionati di storia, a pochi passi trovate uno dei tratti meglio conservati della via Egnatia, strada romana costruita oltre 2000 anni fa.

Ücretsiz otele ait park yeri ve karşılamaları çok samimiydi. Otelin genel temizliği derseniz pırıl pırıl eczane gibi tertemiz, odamız beklentimizin üzerinde modern, oldukça büyük ve ferahtı. Kahvaltısı da 5* otel seviyesinde mükemmel kalitede hazırlanmış, harika deniz manzaralı nefis bir açık büfe kahvaltı hazırlanmıştı. Kavala'ya tekrar gelişimizde kesinlikle burada kalacağız. Εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα με καταπληκτική θέα!

Overall we were satisfied. The view of the rooms facing the sea is very beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast variety is very good and delicious. The attention and care of the hotel staff is also very good, but it would be good to make arrangements and maintenance for the bathroom. Additionally, having a SPA and a pool is an added advantage.
