I loved finding that this hotel was a renovated prison. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. High quality and luxurious. Would recommend highly.

Excellent, character hotel in a quiet area away from the busier central area but within easy reach. The complimentary evening meals were very good.

What a great hotel with an amazing history! It used to be a jail and now is a modern hotel but they kept the character from the past. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great and it was nice not to have to go out and find places to eat every meal. The staff was amazing and I would definitely stay here again.

Staff fantastic, rooms extremely clean, Comfortable beds, heated floors, full breakfast was great and dinner included with different soups with bread. A welcoming and friendly unique experience and would stay here again. Great location and easy to walk to bars, etc.A total win.

The hotel is wonderful. Its history is interesting, and unique. It is very well connected, and the tram stop is just outsite the gate. It is also possible to walk to the city centre. The meals were nice. The staff kind, and professional. My husband and I had a lovely time there.

The complimentary meals and the sauna option were bonuses to the stay. The front desk evening staff was very kind and helpful . The story and architecture very unique , very centrally located for walking

One night transiting Helsinki, great area and great hotel. Staff were helpful and I would happily stay there again.

We love the history, the renovations, the food, the staff, the location…the list goes on! Such a great choice for our first trip to Helsinki. Easily walkable to sites, food and drink…but off the beaten path and offering such a unique place to sleep (an old prison). We would definitely come back!

This was an absolutely fantastic dind for our visit to Helsinki. The staff was amazing, approachable and helpful. The facility was very clean, comfortable, and stylish. Breakfast, fika, and dinner was so nice, with so many options and presented so nicely.

An excellent location, convenient to the Tram and to Ferries. The Breakfast and Dinner included offering was very good.

The little extras like free coffee at check-in and dinner on the house make this hotel something really special! It's cozy and friendly and has become my first choice to stay when I travel to Finland.

Cool rebuilt old prison

Amazing hotel with amazing staff, everyone was so friendly, breakfast and dinner were included with the stay, and they were delicious, there was a sauna and the rooms were spacious and clean. The history and architecture of the hotel was so fun and added to the charm, and it was very conveniently located to city center

This is a great hotel! The staff are fantastic and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The best part was the included meals that included and afternoon snack and a light dinner apart from breakfast! We enjoyed our stay and would return anytime. Thank you!
