The hotel staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. We had a room upgrade from ground floor to 236. The room was quite basic, no fridge, the shower was so weak and water took awhile to heat up however the bed was very comfy. There were cobwebs in the bathroom corner ceilings and the mirror was a little dusty. On the 2nd night, the balcony below the window (outside hot tub) were very loud with music on and kept us up until 1.30. The spa was overcrowded and couldnt get a seat. The hotel had lovely touches with a bentley for a ride into the village and umbrellas at the door which we used. Breakfast was really good too plenty of choice.

The room was unbelievable and the view stunning! Had the most amazing time celebrating my birthday and felt extra special with a glass of Prosecco when we arrived and birthday card in the room. The staff were also really lovely and restaurants food was delish!

This is a really lovely, comfortable hotel in great location. Beautifil decor, great views. Staff are very attentive and welcoming. Greeted with a welcome drink and an upgraded room with a hot tub. Nice spa very relaxing. Food in the mizumi restaurant was delicious with lovely surroundings and great service. We would definately return, a fabulous experience.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Lakes Hotel and Spa, on this occasion it was our first year anniversary and they really made a big deal of it. We went to the cocktail terrace, which had some really delicious cocktails (personally would recommend the lake’s tiramisu), and then we had a relaxing couple of hours in the stunning spa, which has great facilities. Finally, the private hot tub on the balcony makes the trip special, and is one of the main reasons we have gone back.

Great hotel. Staff all lovely. Great cocktail Bar overlooking the lake which also does food. On site restaurant mizumi is excellent. Great atmosphere. It was nice to have an evening where we didn’t need to leave the hotel. The only points for improvement would be the bathroom could do with modernising and having a walk in shower and the superior room we had could have done with a set of drawers as we felt this was lacking. That being said we would definitely book again. We had a great visit

Excellent stay staff were very attentive the spa facilities were lovely and even drove us on the hotel Bentley to our restaurant in the town. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower

Amazing stay beautiful facility

Lovely stay as usual. Love The Lakes hotel. Wonderful food and service. Gorgeous room and hot tub. Sadly the bed needed replacing- room138 and could feel the springs of the mattress- neither of us slept well.

Staff were very helpful - especially reception. Spa was very busy and smaller than expected, didnt have a seat. Breakfast was also not 5* quality.

We had an amazing time at The Lakes Hotel and Spa. The service from Patrick when we first arrived and from Benn when we visited the restaurants was exceptional. We will definitely book again.
