My family only stayed here for one night, but it was one of the most memorable stops on our trip to Japan.
The atmosphere in Kawaguchiko was truly pleasant and peaceful. After days in the bustling cities, admiring the lake, mountains, and enjoying the slow pace of life here was incredibly relaxing. I think this is a perfect place for those seeking tranquility and immersion in nature.
Unfortunately, the weather was bad due to Typhoon Jangmi, so we couldn't fully see Mount Fuji. However, my family still had very worthwhile experiences, such as enjoying the famous Houtou noodles of Yamanashi Prefecture and visiting Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi.
The rooms had a distinctly traditional Japanese style with tatami floors and futon seating. My daughter excitedly said, "This is Nobita's house from Doraemon, Mom!" 🤭
One thing I particularly loved about the hotel was the traditional Japanese breakfast. Every dish was meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. This was one of the breakfasts my family enjoyed the most during the trip. Personally, I give this experience a 19/10.
What I liked most about Kawaguchiko wasn't the luxury or the lively entertainment, but the peaceful atmosphere. Sitting and admiring the natural scenery, breathing in the fresh air, and spending time with family are what made this place so special.
If the weather had been nice that day and we could have seen Mount Fuji in its entirety, the trip would have been even more perfect. But even without seeing Mount Fuji, Kawaguchiko left me and my family with beautiful and memorable feelings.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A peaceful, relaxing place, and one of the most beautiful memories my family has had on this trip to Japan.
