This was a great spot. Rooms are really nice. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We felt like family. Would love to stay there again

Hidden away in the quiet hilltop town, this was a true find! Two minutes from a huge hillside park with views of the Gulf, too. Amazing food and wonderful service in the restaurant, I lived like a king.

Beautiful hotel in an old world location.

Nice and unique hotel in an amazing small old town. The hotel is really cute! PLEASE NOTE: if you put the hotel name in Google maps, it will most likely take you through a 7km forest gravel road, not very safe to drive there at night. The road is beautiful in the morning. This should definitely be in the hotel description. You can come from another side of Kastav, just put the city center in the navigation app. Food is good, but expensive for this location.

Lorena was so much more than a receptionist. Her knowledge of the area was incredible. I loved every moment even though it was pouring rain when I arrived and my guidance system was aweful

This is really an amazing place. The room was outstanding. The staff was very helpful to give us a lift to the hotel from Kastav and back (the entrance gate was to narrow for our van besides it was heavy raining when departing).

Very hard to find, had to call the hotel to locate. Parking a car was extremely challenging and a long distance away from the hotel. Outdoor restaurant patrons were extremely loud into the late night, which made it challenging to sleep. Power went out at 3:30 in the morning and after the power came back on, all of our lights turned on in the room. Overall, not great.

The room was clean and quiet, but the parking place was not convenient.

Located in an impressive building in the middle of charming old Kastav. If you drive, don’t use the hotel address on google maps – go to the centre of Kastav, and you will find easily your way from there. The design of the interior is full of quirkiness, with myriad of cockerel figurines and other pleasant and surprising details. The room/apartment was huge, the huge bed very comfortable, breath-taking views from the windows. The modern design sometimes overwhelmed the usability - the wonderful bath tube is very slippery, the washing basins are huge but the fixed tap makes them tricky to use, the electrical switches require a degree in electronics to be able to use them efficiently. I am picking straws now – we really enjoyed the stay and we would like to come back some day. The service was prompt and friendly. Very good breakfast and an excellent dinner with local and tasty dishes and drinks.

We loved this place. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The town of Kastav is charming and in a wonderful location to take drives to towns in Istria. The best meal we had in Croatia was at the hotel restaurant. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Croatia.

it is a boutique hotel in a very unique small town. the building has a long history, since 9th century, and is now being managed by a family who has been in Kastav for more than 4 centuries!! they have tried to bring modern technology to such building. Friendly staff and character of the building and the town made our stay a very pleasant one. The views of the sea and surroundings are truly amazing.

The hotel was great, the stuff was amazing and so much kindly. The small town is so magical and lovely. Good food and good bars.
