Staff was very friendly

The room located right beside a busy street, lots of semi trucks passing by, very noisy.

We’ve made it a habit of choosing this hotel for our summer trips for the last 3 years and will continue for our future trips.

Bed sheets were dirty upon arrival, and due to staff being shorthanded I was responsible for changing them. The couch had brown stains on it, the table wasn’t wiped, the window had grease marks, and the towels you weren’t sure if they were clean, or had been used. Just really dirty overall. This is the second time with Sandman Hotels in the Vancouver area that a room was this way. Will not be staying with this hotel chain again.

First of all, the experience by the staff was excellent. Shahaj was very helpful in assisting us with our inquiries and needs. It was because of her warm personality, that made the stay at Sandman very good.

The room was nice though a little small. The place seems to have been updated lately. Convenient to grocery store, Starbucks, lake, and eateries were walkable distances away.

The Sandman has very friendly front desk staff and offers comfortable, quiet, well appointed suites in conjunction with an on-site restaurant that has pleasant serving staff and good food that is budget friendly.
