We were very well looked after by our hosts and could see their passion in ensuring that everything was done to ensure an excellent stay. Food was excellent and the chef has a real skill putting together a comprehensive menu.

I booked two rooms but there was confusion and only one room was booked and they gave us the last room. Our stay was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and friendly. I would stay there again.

Spent a couple of nights at the prince of Wales for a wedding , really can’t complain about anything . Staff are lovely , room was spotless , nice new fresh bedding , comfortable pillows and bed . Breakfast was delicious . Good value for money . The building is not the most attractive and certainly not luxurious but more than adequate in every way .

The Prince of Wales is immediately opposite the entrance to Osborne House, which was the purpose of our visit. Also very close to East Cowes ferry terminal. Very helpful and welcoming staff, and a good menu for dinner. Only negative was rather loud live music, but being Saturday night that wasn't too surprising, Overall very happy with this place, and would happily return.

We found the Prince of Wales exceptionally well presented the rooms were very clean. Food excellent highly recommend . The staff were very friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble . The ambiance was very convivial. We would definitely stay again .

All the staff were very friendly and helpful check-in was easy the room was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable the breakfast was top notch we will definitely stay again

Loved it. The staff and licals were so friendly. The breakfast chef was deserves a special mention. Very handy for osborne house which was the main reason along with our annual keyes family forum were the main reasons for visitong. Especially poignant as my jusband was due to arrange this years get together. And this was his idea. Unfortunatley he died before he coukd achieve this so i stepped in.

Nice hotel, nice rooms, great food portions and good quality. However, we paid for 3 superior king rooms, were told on arrival they only have 1 avaliable, but 2 regular rooms, fine, accidents happen. We were told they will check if they can refund the difference between the 2 rooms we were downgraddled on, never received a call back. Spoke to hotels.com directly, they contacted the hotel who told them we "did receive 3 Superior king rooms". So, despite having used hotels.com for years with no real negative occurences, this one was definitely a first, being left out of pocket and then essentially called a liar, excellent customer service.

Bed comfortable, staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us and breakfast was one of the best I have had for a long time. Great place to stay.

Room & en-suite bit small for 2 adults but in fairness I booked a standard room

I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales.

Literally across the street from the Osborne House. The rooms are named after the children of Queen Victoria, which was fun. Pub has good food both for the breakfast and other meals.

The pub is currently being upgraded and although our stay was good I am sure in a few weeks time it will be even better.

Good value , staff very helpful

We have stayed at The Prince Of Wales before, It is now under new management and they are making great improvements. The facilities are good and moving toward excellent.Very helpful staff,very good value, plenty of parking. We will be staying there again, as this is convenient for us whilst on the I.O.W

Pleasant enough, wifi wasn’t working, bathroom clean but small. Reasonable price
