Walking distance to the magnificent kelpies, decent restaurant. Nice bar. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and well located for a short drive to airport.

Very close to the motorway which was great - easy to find and plenty of room to park. We had been given a garden room ( although our view was another building) and the room could only be accessed by going outside the main hotel.The room was quite spacious as was the bathroom but the bed was a just a normal size double and quite small. There was a smell of stale cigarettes outside the entrance and later that evening there were people stood outside smoking which meant the smell came right up and through the window - we discovered later that there was a stand ashtray at the entrance for smokers, directly under our first floor window but this should have been away from the bedrooms because it was not very pleasant! Our dinner was at the Cooks Restaurant and the service was great, the food freshly cooked and hot and we enjoyed our meal. Breakfast the next day - once again great service, friendly and helpful staff - dining room was lovely and in the main building. Overall a good stay, but the stale cigarette smoke would really put me off from staying again.

Quick business pit stop

Room was quite dated but clean & bed confortable so great for an overnight business trip. Shower quite poor, not very powerful. Worth noting that they host quite a lot of events so may be some entertainment noise in the evening. Did not use the food facilities.

Although the lift was worryingly slow it worked. Evening meal at adjoining restaurant was pleasant, breakfast very buisiness like and fresh. Huge plus was only 15 minute walk to the Kelpies.

It is a nice quiet place to stay. They have an on-site restaurant and bar. There is also a restaurant next door. They are just minutes from attractions like the Kelpies.

Clean and comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent.

Very impressive property and room was a good size. However, there were no sockets close to the bed apart from the very old 5A round pin ones for the bedside lamps, one of which could only be switched off by unplugging it. The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom extractor made a racket for several minutes after being switched off, and the shower was feeble. Not a great stay.

Having always use Premier Inns, we decided their prices had gone to high, so we thought we would try smaller hotels & weren’t we pleased we did. This was a very pleasant break in a 600 mile trip to Scotland

Very clean and lovely helpful staff beds were super comfy too!

As a room only, couldn't wish for anything better. Ideally located for us between starting point and end point.

Our room was in a separate building to the main building which didn't appear to have a secure entry to it. The corridor had things left lying around next to the stairs like bedding etc. our room was tired with rusting on the bathroom mirror, marks on the bath enamel and the carpet in the room was threadbare in places. There was also a musty old smell in the room.

Friendly atmosphere no hassle justi straight forward

The hotel was lovely very comfortable beds the TV needed updating very basic channels and no way of connecting a device to it to stream. The staff who greeted us on arrival were lovely ahd welcoming. The receptionist who checked us out on Monday morning, not so much. She didn't bother ask how our stay was or if everything was okay. Pretty much a fundamental part of the checkout process! Overall it is a nice hotel just needs a little bit of tlc and some investment and it could be amazing.

Very nice and clean. The only place we don’t have to ask for the baby cot because it was already there in the room when we arrived. Very clean and fantastic mattress.
