The friendly staff were a credit to the hotel. The spa was amazing and the food in the restaurant was the best of fine dining

The staff were so friendly seem to have been there for a very long time of them. It’s always good to see. The food was just incredible… Inspired with good fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. The waiter was amazingly helpful.

Room was spacious and in keeping with the calmness of the settings. Great amenities, delicious food, and attentive staff.

This was a beautiful little spa hotel in a cute village. We loved our room overlooking the garden, and the dinner and breakfast was great. We really enjoyed a 2 hour walk through the countryside one afternoon. The spa facility was also lovely and very peaceful.

A lovely experience all round. Great room, lovely views. Only had top body massage but very good. Relaxing in and around the pool, nice chilled atmosphere. 99%. Of the staff were nice and friendly. One young dark skinned chap was notably miserable looking, noticed by more than just myself ( in the spa area) Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Only downside was the toast did not come out with the cooked breakfast, had to remind them as did other tables. Waiter was very sociable and pleasant. Thoroughly recommend a visit/stay here.

Beautiful, cozy hotel tucked away in a little village. Charming country decor, tastefully designed and oozes history. Beautiful grounds with a modern spa, offering treatments, a pool and relaxation.

The spa at Ockenden Manor is absolutely superb – quiet, friendly, and extremely welcoming. The staff create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind. The hotel rooms, while a little dated in style, are comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities you could need for a pleasant stay. Overall, a lovely experience with the spa as the true highlight.

We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon!

Super hotel in a wonderful location. Will definitely visit again soon.

Superb room, excellent spa and fantastic food and wine! Couldn’t fault the 2 night trip my wife and I enjoyed and the massage was superb too! The spa facilities are great, very modern and lots to do!

The ladies in the dining staff were remarkable. Efficient, kind and just lovely. The dining areas were so charming, and our room was absolutely lovely (we stayed in the spa). Highly recommend - as well as the delightful pub just a short walk away!

We've stayed a fair few times and always have a lovely time, the hotel is very quaint but well finished, the service is great and the spa is well specced.

Gorgeous room in the attick with beams, nooks & crannies. My daughter loved it! The spa is super, just annoying that a very well behaved 12yr old is only allowed to enjoy for 1.5hrs in the afternoon/evening.

The only critique would be the king bed in Cuckfield / Edward room. It was very hard for us

We had an amazing time at Ockenden, our second visit there and we'll definitely come back again! We had an upgrade for my husdand's birthday so the room was amazing and complimentary fizz on arrival as well. Such a lovely place and had a lovely relaxing time in the spa.
