Rooms are old and plain, but very large and quite adequate for an overnight stay. The noise from the nightclub at the bottom of the hotel was, however, extremely loud and made it hard to get to sleep until it stopped around 1am. After that, it was fine.

40 Nudos is located right in the center of the city center! Perfecto!!! The only bad aspect of the hotel is the parking. It will cost you an additional $15 euros a day to park your vehicle underground.

A great location and service

Hotel is in a pedestrianised street very close to the main square, Plaza España. You can drive to the hotel to drop off luggage but need to press a call button at the barrier to this street to be let through, then drive back around the old town to park in the public car park under Plaza España. If you have only light bags I recommend parking first and walking 100 metres to the hotel. Hotel is perfect and very good value.

We loved the property, hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious, quiet. Great location, we can walk to everything from the hotel, lots of restaurants and shops near by. I had breakfast at hotel, it was food. I highly recommend the hotel. We will stay there again when visit aviles again.

This is a great hotel. The facility was up to date, clean, well maintained and the staff helpful and attentive. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Rooms were big and comfortable.

Not the grandest place to stay, but if you want everything in its place, everything spotlessly clean, amazing value and a great sized room, comfy bed and plenty of space, plus a large bathroom and a great, again spotless, shower/bath. We had a very pleasant 1night stay here - the hotel is perfectly located just off main plaza in old Town. Parking was in main public car park with hotel reserved spaces - a little expensive at €15 but convenient to hotel. The ppm was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel almost on Plaza España so very centrally located. Bit difficult to find initially as in the old town which has driving restrictions but once we located the right road we found it okay. We were were travelling with two kids and our cat (we spend the month in Spain each year so bring them with us!) and booked a family room which was massive! Only complaint is that the main bed was like sleeping on a board. Some people like firm beds but this was taking "firm" to a new level. We were so happy with hotel we will probably try to book it for the return trip.
