There is construction around the hotel and there is no restaurant or bar open. Also the breakfast was not included in the cost of the room (which I did not know when I booked this). I do not know if the breakfast was good or not as I did not think it would be worth the additional cost.

The convenience of the proximity to the metro, the cleanliness of the room, and the very comfortable bed all more than made up for the amount of construction happening all over the nearest major intersection. I had a lovely stay, would absolutely stay here again.

The person working the front desk was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me during my stay knowing I spoke very little french and I really appreciated that.

The staff was lovely and helpful and gave useful tips. A very good breakfast was served with a variety of choice. The general cleanliness of the room and bathroom was excellent and this was very important to me. What I didn't like however, was the size of the bathroom and shower. It was too small and inconvenient. Only a very slim person could use the shower comfortably. It also got blocked up every time it was used.

Location of property was superb - 100m from metro station with 2 minute service frequency. Enjoyed having a bar/restaurant attached to the hotel. Room was small but very functional. Daily room service was very efficient. Bed was very comfortable apart from a dip in centre of mattress! Wifi was extremely good, full service connected throughout my stay.

I had a pleasant stay. Rooms are always clean with daily change of towels available. Breakfast is the same everyday, but it's okay because the croissants/pain-au-chocolat, French bread & butter are really good! A bit far away from the city centre, however the nearest Metro station is only 2 minutes away. The neighbourhood is quiet. Over-all, good value for money.

Friendly service, easy access to metro

I had to rush a room inexpensive. They took care of me very well. I lost my waller and staff member found me to return it asap. Honest helpful great service

Walls are really thin so you can hear everything, Pillows were thin and bed was uncomfortable but satisfactory. Shower was really tiny. Overall stay was good, Service was good and staff was friendly. Would Recommend for budget saving.

The Kléber is a two star hotel, so there are no frills. There is no fridge or kettle (which is normal in a 2 Star.) We chose it because we had reason to be in Montreuil. Our room was very plain, small, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. It was well heated. I’d booked a room with one double and one single bed, but we were given the keys to a room with a double bed only, which took some firm ‘renegotiating’; we got a room with three single beds, which was satisfactory. I really like Montrieul, I find it ethnically diverse, vibrant and colourful. It’s a reasonably poor area, so don’t expect the Marais. But it has good transport links to central Paris, and a community atmosphere.

It is ok if you are young and planning on partying and only need the room to sleep. It's a backpackers,not a hotel.

I miss this hotel! I stayed here by myself and thought this hotel was simply perfect. When I arrived it was a bit hot/stuffy; the hotel owner gave me a fan to use which I appreciated because sometimes hotel air conditioners can get too cold. You get used to the bathroom being tight and the keys to unlock the rooms. The place is clean and is footsteps away from the Croix de Chavaux train station which will bring you all over Paris. There is also a restaurant below that makes an outstanding hamburger. I will definitely stay here again. By the way, take a short walk from the hotel to the Chateâu de Vincennes...it’s worth a visit!

Worst hotel you could ever stay in. Don't even think about it

This is the 2nd time i ve stayed at Le Kleber. The rooms are small but very clean and tidy. Excellent value for money and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

All the staff really friendly and patient, the breakfast is good value, it's close from the station, it's quiet, clean, and there's lots of place to party around. It kind of looks shady immediately around the hotel but it's not, it safe.
