There was one unpleasant female staff member at the front desk. All the guests waiting to check in at 12:30 were immediately taken to their rooms and given keys. I asked why I couldn't, whether there was a check-in issue. It turned out to be because I booked a standard room. What's the difference between a standard room and a medium room? There shouldn't be any distinction between guests. If check-in is required at 2:00 PM, why were other guests given keys immediately and told to check in at 12:30? She should be a cleaning staff member who doesn't handle customers, not at the front desk. I didn't see her name, but I'll be in Semarang frequently for work and won't be staying here again.

The hotel is very close to the Old Town. I got a room, the first one was a double bed. The toilet was crusty, the shower was unclean, the sink was rusty, the bathroom light was out, and the AC wasn't cooling even though it was already 16 degrees Celsius. I asked to move rooms that night, but the receptionist refused, saying they would discuss it with the cleaning department. In fact, the bathroom was still dirty. I asked to move rooms the next morning, and they immediately agreed. The toilet in the new room was also crusty and not clean enough for a three-star or well-known hotel. The AC in the new room was quite cold. The water in the shower was hot, and there was no indicator showing hot or cold.

The policy of not being able to leave ordered items at the front desk is very odd. This is the first time I've experienced this while choosing a hotel. Overall, the room was comfortable.

The hotel staff was very friendly, the security guards were polite, and there was a welcome drink. The room was clean and fragrant, just right.

A little disappointed staying here. The hotel is old so the cleanliness is not maintained well, especially the bathroom is dirty with a lot of scale. For the rooms, the wallpaper is also peeling off, the hotel is poorly maintained with a fairly pricey price. Hopefully it will be improved more like other Horison hotels.

Executive rooms don't have refrigerators. The vinyl flooring is peeling, and if you trip or trip on it, you could injure your feet.

Check-in was supposed to be 2:00 PM, but I arrived at 1:30 PM and was allowed into my room. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. It was close to Kota Lama and a gas station, and the food was delicious. However, when I wanted to swim, the pool was dirty, as if there was sand or moss, so I didn't go. Overall, I won't be disappointed staying here again.

Overall it's good and every time I go to Semarang it becomes a favorite place.
