Our second stay here in less than 6 months. This time in a different room type for the whole family. A stay at the Mangala is always an exceptionally pleasant experience, especially because staff are warm and welcoming. This time we were under the excellent care of Zafar but from the moment you step into the resort, the staff do their best to pamper you and make you feel very important. A bit of a damper during this stay was the breakfast buffet; we felt it did not match up to the quality of the a la carte breakfast. And a minor issue with the room air con, which we could not adjust to our liking no matter how we set it. Notwithstanding this, the family is already planning the next stay here.

Our stay was made exceptional by the warm and attentive hospitality of the staff, especially Zafar, whose friendliness left a lasting impression. The F&B team delivered service with impeccable courtesy, adhering to SOPs while ensuring a pleasant and refined dining experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cycling activity, the spacious surroundings, and scenic environment made it both relaxing and engaging, never once feeling monotonous. Altogether, it was a truly memorable experience that combined excellent service, enjoyable activities, and a beautiful setting.

In-house restaurant pricing is indeed 5 star but the quality, taste and variety is certainly not - 3 to 4 star at best. The included breakfast buffet is not of international quality and we were not keen on it after 2 days. Staff friendliness deserves a positive mention. It might help if the room listings state clearly if there are any adjoining villas as most people are looking for a private getaway staying in such a place. The private pool is great however it doesn't actually offer real privacy because people outside can still glimpse inside through the rows of plants, maybe use tall hedges instead

Hotels with private pools are mushrooming in Malaysia. What sets Mangala apart from the others is the level of service. Service is perhaps the most overlooked aspect of the hotel business in Malaysia. I have stayed at so-called "branded" hotels and have been disappointed at the mechanical way that staff go about their work. Staff at Mangala are well-trained and go out of their way to make guests feel that they are getting personalized service. There was some confusion about my booking which was handled excellently by Fyda at the front desk after I explained why I had chosen that particular room type. I would consider myself a fussy guest who can be bothered by small things like mishung curtains and dust in corners but I was wholly satisfied with my stay at the Mangala Estate Boutique Resort. The service alone, not only the beautiful ambience of the resort and the quality of the food, will make me come back for more. And hopefully very soon!

Quiet & comfortable atmosphere. We stayed at the amani villa. There is a private pool. Rooms are clean and complete with all amenities. Only tv channel x how satisfying. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Will come back again. Best.

Booked at the very last minute on the day of travel itself. The hotel managed to accommodate to all my requests. Definitely had a good 3 days here and will come back in the future! Breakfast options were not much but they focused more on the quality instead of quantity. Great service provided and I enjoyed my stay!

The place is excellent. Love the morning breeze and the quiet surroundings. bunch of activities for kids. However the place is only for those who is 1 with nature. We have no complaints of the insects and lizards. It's our 3rd time staying here.

Excellent customer service, they just hired a new chef and the food there had great improvements. Room is top notch.

The room is the best. With the private pool and all. The tranquillity 5 star. Very good for private and romantic get away the staffs are very friendly and informative but the breakfast part is disappointing. They should have buffet for breakfast regardless of how many occupants..need to wait more than 30 minutes for food after we order

While the rooms and facilities are perfect, what could have been a getaway to heaven, turned sour cause they charged on my room something I didn't order and taking them too long to admit to their mistake. Still waiting though. They only contacted me via email and waited for me, to call them. It was very upsetting and I felt cheated. They even reprinted a whole new fake receipt! They can't provide me with a receipt that was signed by me. Dear mangala resort, whenever you guys are ready for that apology, I am here. U could learn a thing or 2 on customer service from hard rock hotels. So so sad since we really love the resort, even extended our stay another night and upgraded ourselves to the room with private pool and also already planning to return next month.

Everything was perfect at Mangala Resort & Villa for our honeymoon stay. We stay at Vana Villa and the room was so nice and lovely. The resort team has arrange the necessary amenities for your special occasion. We also had spa service at the spa. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Mangala Resort & Spa especially all the staffs.

Such a lovely hotel. Me and my husband stay there for just one night but we will coming back to this hotel. The private pool is the best thing ever. We have such a nice time there. The staff also are very friendly and always smiling and greeting us.
