We had a suite with 2 bathrooms, one had a very smelly sink and the other one a clogged toilet. The staff was very helpful, but these issues were annoying

I appreciated the ease of having the cooking area as well as plates and utensils to use. I also really enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. This is advertised as a pet friendly hotel and there is no courtyard area to allow the animals to use the bathroom.

Bell boys at value parking were terrible, bad service, no information for guests who want to public parking. They wanted to get money from guests as much as possible by forcing value parking only.

Room was big but a bit shabby. You must pay to valet, no self parking. There are many hotels nearer to restaurants, within walking distance to fun. This is one is on a busy corner with nothing but a gas station near by. No ocean view. It was clean. Breakfast was good. But I wouldn’t select this place again.

Location, location, location. We stayed here because many “tourist” activities were either within walking distance or a relatively short Uber ride away, and also a hot breakfast is included every morning (with very attentive staff: everything was always replenished immediately). The lobby has a ping-pong table, foosball table, a set of cornhole bags and a large connect four game. Hotel staff were always very nice. Only one star less because the rooms are slightly showing their age (torn leather high top chairs in rooms), but this didn’t affect us adversely. There is a little light on the headboard of each bed that is on the side which doesn’t have the main lamp, which was nice. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion dispensers are included, which was a nice touch. A couple of the containers were empty, but when we alerted the front desk, they were filled immediately - thank you! We would recommend this hotel to others. It’s in a great location and within walking distance to Little Italy, the USS Midway and the nautical museum. It’s also not far from Petco stadium and Balboa Park. It’s literally 2 miles away from the airport.

Apart from being right by the bay , I don't recommend if you are tired from your trip to stay there, the walls and ceilings are super thin , you hear everything on the corridor, the people walking talking, banging on the walls , flushing toilets , shower , , etc ..on a top of that the train ..it was a nightmare , we didn't sleep all night , we had to leave and stay at another hotel for the next night. the property seems beautiful in the lobby but the breakfast area has flies , the watermelon they served was old , the coffee machines and cups are so dirty , Also something really bad about the hotel , they charge you $ 60 for the night , I forgot a detail , about the receptionists , they won't ask you how was your stay, In short it is not worth it at all , it gives a cheap motel vibes that wants to gain a Michelin star It doesn't deserve the Hilton name next to it ,

Room not clean, when they come to clean the room, didn’t replace the tissue box and toilet paper , call front desk they said wait until 8 am in the morning so they can bring up to my room The front desk not helpful, they just look at me when I ask them some question.

Overall good. Just a couple things that could be improved: Air conditioner was so loud and there’s no way to reduce it. We were told that most rooms are like that so no point to change room. If you are concerned on this noise, this is not a place for you. It was very hard to stay in the seating area with the noise. We got the studio with 2 queen beds. If you stay in your bed area, noise is not too much but you can still hear it. Then, laundry situation: you need to install an app to pay for the washer dryer and we did not want to install an app as apps are typically collecting personal data. Breakfast is okay, but if you stay there more than 2 days, you will feel disgusted with the same breakfast every day. We stayed for 7 days and towards the 4th days, it was pretty much no appetite for the breakfast. It would have been better to alternate every other day different menu. 1 staff at the check in was not friendly when we asked where is the breakfast area.
