Lovely staff, clean room & spacious. Quiet area and walkable distance from station and shops.

Lovley Only thing I could possibly fault is pillows no soft ones and no way to bolt door inside But place was fabulous

I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom for 2 nights. I was lucky and had the bathroom to myself. Fir what I paid for my 2 nights I thought it was good value Room was clean and comfortable, but a bit dated. Lots of parking. Helpful friendly staff. Good location for exploring the Gorest of Dean.

We needed somewhere near Chepstow, so convenient, room was large and comfortable, bathroom excellent, welcome was friendly, some nice eating places nearby.

Great stay, helpful staff as always. Have stayed a few times, perfect for our needs.

Lovely place to stay

The accommodation is located right near a bus stop and shops which is handy for food etc the area is quite safe and the price for a room of the quality we had is very good .

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and well equipped room, convenient location with easy parking.

Conveniently located for a visit to friends in the area. The room was basic but plenty of space. The staff were helpful regarding arranging us a check in after hours.

It was convenient to reduce driving time to Cornwall

DeanGate Motel is modern and by and large clean. It turns out my room was an "Economy" room. It shared a bathroom with 3 other rooms which I understood at the time of booking and had no problem with. However there were a few things which if addressed would have made my stay more enjoyable. First the sink was not clean it had stains in it the nature of which I cannot be sure of. Second there is no wardrobe/rail/hangers to keep your clothes neat and finally the shower is an over the bath type. Sadly no non-slip mat was provided which is an absolute must for a stand in the bath type of shower. Therefore I cannot recommend this accommodation

The room was too warm and would have been better with a fan.
