room was clean. We especially appreciate the generous size bathroom and the coffee maker and water kettle in the room. We asked for an internal room to avoid the construction noise. Despite our window staring right at the internal covered courtyard, our room was quiet and we slept really well. Staff was courteous and helpful. The best part is the location, being right across the street from Atocha station near Parque del Retiro and Paseo del Prado. We could get to the station/bus terminal using the underground walkway thru the metro entrance within 5 mins. We tried the breakfast buffet one day and felt that it was fine, though I was not sure about the praises in other reviews. The coffee is from nescafe machines, while you have to wait in line to order your eggs. I do think that the bread is really good. The breakfast room is stylish and wrap-around balcony let you have a great view of area. Overall we have a perfect stay and would highly recommend it.

Close to metro and high speed train station. Clean room but small - excellent shower and AC. Gym on site very useful. Seventh floor restaraunt was top notch (unfortunately too hot to outside in seventh floor patio). Staff all around were very helpful. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops or take transit to tourist sites.

The staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The public area is very clean, the rooms are tidy and clean.

The room and hotel has its on character and it was such a pleasure to spend 2 night there. We would recommend this hotel to anyone of our family and friends.

The hotel is directly across from Atocha train station and right next to the Metro stop so it’s very convenient. We walked to the hotel from the train station in just a minute. The hotel is very nice and the staff friendly. We booked a basic room and it was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed, a desk, a makeup area and a great bathroom. Even though it’s right by the station and at a busy intersection our room was quiet. We didn’t eat any meals but the hotel appeared to have a really nice restaurant and bar as well as a coffee shop. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is dated and the hallways are dim. The room was clean and comfortable. But the breakfast was average. There was no one to seat us or bring coffee.

Location/Room: I stayed in Room 216, a “premium double room with a balcony.” The room did have a small balcony, but nothing large enough to sit on. The view was of the Atocha train station and it was a little noisy considering how much commuting happens nearby, which wasn’t a problem. The actual volume issue was how loud the construction was directly in front of the hotel. Food: The food from the lobby restaurant is pretty good, but on the 7th floor? Eh. Amenities: Not much in the hotel besides a gym and the cafe + restaurant. Service: Most of the hotel staff were very nice, shoutout to Luis and Denise!

Great hotel near the train station

My wife and I had a great stay. It’s too bad we only had one night and not more time in Madrid. The staff welcomed us with a sparkling wine and water (It was 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside.) I purposely chose the hotel because we came in by train and it’s a 5 minute walk from the train station. The room was nice and spacious for European standards. The breakfast was very good, but a little pricey. However, on our checkout the manager surprised us by taking 10 euros off the 46 euros cost for breakfast for two. He said it was for first time guests. We would definitely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to visit Madrid again.
