It was below my expectations. Rooftop tub not working - we reported but nothing was done about it. The buildling had issues with hot water and the building power went down once. Breakfast at the restaurant was OK. Parking area small and super tight, but manageable.

Staff may not have been well trained but were all extremely helpful and available in short notice. Bathroom has excellent shower head and very efficient water drainage, which is appealing to those who don’t like to see standing soapy water covering your ankles.The restaurant offers a reasonable variety of dishes at good prices. Very good location near commerce and restaurants at walking distance and an Easy ride to the beach. Overall, the hotel is a great value!

Fast check in. Polite staff. Clean room. Good breakfast. I have booked 2 rooms, in one of them, which the baby's nanny slept, room #410, the air conditioning didn't work. The hotel is a bit far from the main beach, Praia do Forte, but Uber is cheap and works very well in Cabo Frio.

Hotel Matiz Oasis is a full service hotel with a restaurant, pool and jacuzzi (although the photo on their site makes it look a lot bigger than it is!),spa for massages and room service 24 hours (I think). The breakfast buffet is very nice with plenty of options. The room is decent size with the essentials you need, but the water pressure in the shower is very susceptible to the time of day. Also, I never turned on the cold water, the hot by itself was a little less than I wanted, but ok. The staff is very friendly, especially in the restaurant. I only speak a little Portuguese but several of the front desk staff speak English. Monique especially was excellent! She called tour companies for me to get details and make a booking and always had a smile on her face. The location is fine, not super close to the main area of the Praia Forte, but easy to get around town from there. My only big issue was value. I think it is overpriced a little, but I also realize I went during high season. Overall, a decent full service hotel.

Close walk to beach. Nice staff. The included breakfast was yummy. Room was quiet even with the windows open.

A equipe de funcionários é muito prestativa, o ambiente do hotel e as atividades sao muito boas, o quarto é limpo, somente senti falta de mais variedade no café da manhã, como pão de queijo e suco de laranja, mas no final foi uma boa experiência.

Ambiente muito agradável, perto de praia com água limpa e transparente. Secador de cabelo não estava funcionando (pelo menos no quarto em que eu fiquei).

Hotel muito bom, com instalações perfeitas pra quem não quer se aborrecer, preferindo praticidade do que paisagens bonitas. Funcionários eficientes, tanto na recepção como no café da manhã. Só senti falta de opções fits e integrais, no café da manhã. Me hospedei em março de 2026.

Recepcao nao foi boa ..quarta sujo nao tiveram patia..me senti escluida ..tive medo nao dormi..ar condicionado nao fuicinando reclamei ..nao fizeram nada 4 dias sem ar ..nao me derem bom dia .nem boa tarde ..me senti tao não que sai dai angustiada ..parece que eu era fantasma...preconceito ..meu Deus muito triste ..nao imaginei que seria assim... O café da manhã também nao era bom o pão era duro o atendimento também não era bom os funcionários tratavam melhor os estrangeiros do que a gente Os recepcionistas não fazia questão de nos atender sempre de cara feia e sempre nos tratando com ignorância E um lugar que nao tem um segurança extremamente escuro Foi a primeira e a ultima vez que me vou a esse hotel La você so e bem tratado se tiver muito dinheiro fora isso te tratam mal e fazem pouco caso de você
