Nice, basic place a little bit back from the beach but with a unique view of the lush cliffside. Quiet pool area. Calmer than the other big hotels and resorts.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. While the host was very nice and accommodating, the apartment itself was not. No AIR CONDITIONING in a 35 Celsius weather, just one fan to make sleeping barely possible. We found trash from previous guests under the bed. Too expensive for what it has to offer. Avoid

Really great location -- quiet, and with lovely view over stream and marsh, but a short walk to the town centre and the stunning beach. Clean, cheerful and modern apartment with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Quiet location. Starting to get a bit hot at night with no aircon and a fan

These are excellent apartments in a good location. The apartment we stayed in was very well equipped with everything we needed. The apartments are situated in a quiet part of Cala Galdana where we had a lovely view of the river and adjacent countryside but we were still only a few minutes from the beach and several restaurants. Our hosts were lovely and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

The apart/hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Cala Galdana's beach and shops/restaurants/bars, in a quiet end of the road area. The welcoming from the receptionist/manager was very warm and friendly. The flat we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and stylish. We have been to Cala Galdana many times before and we love its wonderful beach!

The host of Des Mais made us feel so welcome. She was very informative and advised us on everything in the local area from walks, to great restaurants, to beaches and activities. Most of which we sampled and were awesome! When reception was closed we were greeted by the care taker who was very friendly and smiley, credit to her as the grounds of Des Mais are beautiful. She helped us with our washing and drying when required - this is another service that Des Mais offers (all for only 2 Euro!) The location is beyond perfect; our room had a idyllic view across the nature reserve opposite where you can find birds & fishes in the stream. Their chirping and splashing provides a backing track you wouldn't get anywhere else. The new owner has done a great job of renovations, although the accommodation is basic (it hasn't everything you'll need) it's reflected in the price and is excellent value for money! In a world where there's so much to choose from its easy to find yourself being over critical and leaving disappointed, however, this wasn't the case with Des Mais. We left feeling contented and sad to go. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay! Highly recommended.

Our stay was in September and it took a few nights to get used to the heat - there is no air con or fans in these apartments making them warm even at nighttime.

All set as required, no complains very quiet place ideally for a get away and relax

Desmais Apartment's Are Located in A Very Quiet Area Of Cala Galdana , 10 min walk To Beach ( Great Beach) and restaurant's. Quiet pool on site though the water is a bit on the Cool side, There are 2 Blocks of 12 Apartments each The top block is quite a climb. Not a lot of night life But the couple of Hotel's in the area have entertainment Most nights And you can just walk in.

Desmais is in a good location for exploring most of Menorca in a car. We explored! There are a lot of steps to the upper apartments; not accessible; great exercise.

Rooms are nice and well located Cleaned only once a week, and even then the bins were not emptied which becomes an issue if you're cooking there!

These apartments have been recently furnished by the new owner, providing clean accomerdation only 7mins walk from the beach. The owner running the development was very friendly and for this reason I would return again. The pool provides a quieter location to relax and has a child friendly shallow end with my 4 year old proffered.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely people too, enjoyed the break and will go back.

Bien situé dans une calanque magnifique pour faire les randonnées autour. En revanche, nous étions déçu par la qualité et prix . Piscine restait sale pendant quelques jours . Quelques taches de peinture qui de detache dans la salle de bain . Tâches de rouille dans mitigeur. Appartement nécessite rénovation pour offrir une belle experience.

The coffee machine did not work, also the extractor hood does not work, which is very inconvenient when cooking as the apartments smells like the food. For the rest it was all ok, I cannot really complain about others things. I liked that it was quiet, view was nice and it was not such a big complex!

A notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé des fourmis. C est un peu désagréable .les nuisances sonores des voisins.

1° volta a Menorca, esperienza ottima l’isola ha delle calette naturali da scoprire spettacolari le sue spiagge sono favolose con acqua cristallina, l’isola la si gira tranquillamente in scooter o auto. La struttura dove ho alloggiato con la mia famiglia (4 persone) è DESMAIS E si trova a Cala GALDANA la consiglio vivamente la posizione è ottima in 5 min si raggiunge la spiaggia molto vicina al centro ma nello stesso tempo regna la quiete e la tranquillità avendo di fronte un oasi naturalistica, la struttura è ben gestita da RAFFAELE e la figlia che sono disponibilissimi per cercare di soddisfare ogni esigenza e consigliare cosa visitare o dove assaggiare le prelibatezze del luogo.

En todo momento nos sentimos muy bien atendidos y recibidos por el director Rafael y su equipo. El apartamento es muy cómodo y junto con la zona cerca de la bioreserva donde había un silencio encantador y la "super cama" de la que dispone el apartamento descansamos y desconectamos desde el minuto uno. Seguro que repetiremos y lo recomendamos sin ninguna duda.
