Located in a depressed, challenging spot, the hotel is still a shining example of Delhi’s past resuscitated into contemporary glory. Staff were so kind and welcoming, the restaurant food & atmosphere are spectacular, and still worth a stay. I hope to visit the other hotel properties.

a touch of old Delhi, you have to walk in Ally to reach the hotel which was not convenient for late at night but hotel staff compensated for that with great service

The place was wonderfull, the staff was great .. However the buildings are separate (Golden Haveli) which means you will walk about 500 m down a narrow (sketchy) alley at night and early morning as the all food/ activities is in the main building. The tasting menu is relatively expensive and kinda boring

The Haveli Dharampura is a beautiful, historical place with lovely staff. All the facilities and rooms are clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff are very welcoming and happy to accommodate any requests. The location of the Haveli is in the middle of the markets so be prepared for the typical Delhi streets when you step outside. We highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

Its a great place. The Haveli has been lovingly restored and is amazing. So many interesting features to find. Roof terrace and restaurant are little havens after a day in Dehli. Food in restaurant in the evening is great: have the taster menu: you wont regret it. Its on a little back street in Old Dehli. In fact heritage road is quite quaint in its way. I didnt feel unsafe. It is in walking distance of Red Fort and main mosque, and plentiful access to rickshaws. Uber is your friend too. So well located in that respect. Old Dehli is very deprived. If you are not expecting a certain squalor to the area then you may not feel comfortable. The walk to the Red Fort will open your eyes and your nostrils! But. Its real life Dehli and that is a valuable experience. Going back to the Haveli is a perfect sanctuary at end of day. We did a day in New Delhi too. I understood Connaught Square is a common place for western hotels. Tbh I didnt like it and Im pleased we stayed where we did. Cant emphasise enough how great this hotel is in terms of sanctuary, history, food and experience. But if you arnt comfortable walking through the surrounding poverty its probably not for you. And maybe give Dehli a miss!

This hotel has two locations close to each other. Both are renovated historical buildings in the middle of Old Delhi. We are adventurous travelers that love to be where it is most exciting and stay at small hotels owned by locals. We got both and in addition wonderful service by wonderful people. The restaurant had delicious food. The hotel can’t be easily reached by car but other transportation is available in the tiny streets of Old Delhi. Also, as expected in a location like this, it is fairly noisy at almost all times.

Lovely hotel. A little incongruous in its setting and the surrounding lanes do not seem to have benefitted from the oppulence of the hotel. Prices are very high for drinks even given the setting. We swapped a book and were charged so the hotel to label their paperbacks to avoid confusion. Staff are lovely. Reception were unclear on taxi charges and misquoted initially. Pictures of the hotel belie its setting which felt unfair. However, ovetall a somewhat surreal experience as the hotel tries hard to be like something from the past while catering to the whims of modern clientelle.

It was an amazing hotel experience in the middle of old Delhi. After entering the gate we stepped into a beautiful 17th century palace. We could really feel the history. Kite flying, walking tour, and the food was such an added pleasure. Would definitely recommend!
