Very well appointed inside, room was clean and very comfortable. Grounds are a nice size and comfortable to walk around. No having to go out to the street and deal with reaffic. Really enjoyed the pool area also; not a primary reason for staying, we found it a great place to relax. Breakfast was a treat as well.

Beautiful country setting! Further from Santarem than we expected but very kind and helpful people owner who directed us to some adventures in Tomar! Beds were very comfortable and bedding was crisp n white - very clean. Cute little balcony facing the mountains. Paid additional for a wonderful full breakfast - eggs n bacon , fresh fruit, pastries etc. Lovely owners!!

Best decision for a base for exploring Portugal. Fast access to everywhere (Golega, Tomar, Santarem), without headaches of city driving. Travel is hard, and for me, having a place where everything "just works," is the most valuable thing on a trip. Well executed simplicity beats fancy every time, and this was the effect of the fantastic attention to detail by the staff. Will stay there again for the quiet and secure peace of mind in such a beautiful location. Strong recommend.

The room was spacious and clean. The AC worked which was important since it was very hot during our visit. The property had a lovely outdoor area with a pool.

We had the best time staying hear, this place is very clean, very comfortable,and breakfast was perfect. the owners go out of the way to make things perfect. love the cook to order breakfast option. they even went out to pick fresh berries for the morning breakfast. we had the owner make us a well balanced dinner the last evening we stayed, it was so good. there is fresh lavender and lemon plants on the property. the lavender smells were awesome. i love the gates, this makes you feel so safe at night. we had the orange room with the balcony. amazing. slept with the window and door open all night. what a gem. just loved everything about it. we are looking to book again and again.
