It was perfect, I appreciate the quietness at Homestead Villas and the comfy bed the most

The establishment is very well designed, great infrastructure. Decor in both common areas and rooms is rich and clearly no costs were spared during the initial setup. One of the best appointed rooms I have stayed in in this price range. Staff was very friendly. Well stocked honesty bar. However, general upkeep and cleanliness is problematic. Weeds were growing all over the paved areas. Building needed some serious painting - some areas had gone green. The fountain was green and lacked upkeep. Upon arrival, my room's floor had not been swept with pieces of rusk from previous occupants still lying all over. Two of my pillow slips had visibly not been changed from previous occupants. These matters were however swiftly attended to, but made we wonder what else was not properly cleaned. Perhaps poor staff performance? We were not spoilt with choices at breakfast. Although hot breakfasts were served, there were no cold meats, cheeses, yogurt or even fruit. The price tag which was charged for breakfast, warranted more options. We found cheaper and much better somewhere else. I will stay again as the environment is really great, luxurious and relaxing. More attention to detail and staff effort would add just that bit extra for the perfect stay. Staff might want to get to start cleaning as opposed to lazying around as observed on a few occasions.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Homestead Villas while traveling on business. We selected this accommodation due to its close location to our meetings. This hidden gem was absolutely perfect for our brief visit. Beautiful property and well appointed guest room. Good internet connection as well.

Unfortunately the room smelled like cigarette smoke so I decided not to sleep there even though I paid . I just left quietly . The Villas are situated in the most heautiful and safest area. I have stayed there before and found it to be central and the surrounding area to be beautiful.

We were surprised with a warm welcome and a very nice, up kept guesthouse, staff all extremely polite and friendly.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, unfortunately the staff don’t seem to speak English well but really do try to help.

Beautiful setting when one arrives makes you feel that you are staying on a winefarm – long tree-lined driveway with Guinea fowl running around. Décor in both common areas and the rooms has a distinctive tasteful touch of class and luxury. Small attention to detail such as packets of nuts, home made rusks and good wines in the room (all at a charge). Décor modern. Common areas seem to lack a bit of maintenance and could do with a lick of paint and chlorine for the water fountains. The front desk host was efficient and polite. However for an institution of this stature and class one would expect someone with a bit more personality, warmth and flair. No MTN signal whatsoever, but Wifi is good and free. I would definitely recommend a stay.

The room was very nice. We arrived very late and the owner was very obliging about helping us check-in. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed divinely comfortable. Lovely bathroom grooming products. The hotel was further from the airport than we thought but it was worth it as in a secure estate. Lovely historical building. Thought it was good value.

I often stay at Homestead Villas when I travel to Cape Town for meetings in the northern suburbs. They have very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious, and the environment is tranquil and safe. I'll certainly stay there again. It's also great value for money

Foi uma grande surpresa boa a estadia no hotel Homestead Villas de Bellville/Cape Town. O hotel fica dentro de um condomínio fechado muito bonito e agradável e tem a praticidade de estar muito perto de todas as atrações de Cape Town sem estar exposto ao stress do movimento. Bons shopping centers perto, bons restaurantes e já na saída para as vinícolas
