Hello! Staff was really really nice, and the experience would have been great had it not been for the construction happening. I do feel pretty disappointed that we were not warned that this was happening beforehand (I would have booked a different hotel). We came from a day at the spa, and were ready to rest and veg out at the hotel, but the construction sounded like it was happening inside the hotel and was beyond loud that it forced us to leave and not hangout at the hotel. I also feel like we should have been provided a discount for having been warned, and having to put up with such an unpleasant atmosphere.

Good overall. Too many vagrants around on the outside. This is a turn off.

Great location - walkable to Parliament, Byward Market, Museums and Galleries. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Quick to help and offer advice and services. The breakfast was exceptional. We didnt expect the "included-breakfast" to be credit for meals at the onsite restaurant. The menu was big with lots of options and portions were very good. Valet service was quick and secure. Easy to contact them to bring car when needed.

Well, when I stepped into the bathroom, I was greeted with a coach roache I had to kill. As I brushed my teeth more came running out. In the folded bath towel there was a long jet black hair. The room was filthy. I had two nights booked, but we are out of there. I was told by the front desk to contact Expedia to see about a refund...

It is a very nice hotel. Within walking distance of many good restaurants and drink establishments!

This is a first class hotel. Clean, central, modern, accommodating. We stayed in other hotels in Ottawa - nothing comes even close. Excellent customer service (predominantly Ryan!)

Nice hotel! Very conveniently located next to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas and cafés hotel has no parking or any private parking so you need to park around

Check in was fast and welcoming. Due to ongoing construction there were earplugs in the room. Snacks and non alcoholic beverages were provided free of charge and drink coupons for the rooftop bar. Breakfast was delicious, but pricey: $22 per person and $5 each for coffee. Park in the municipal lot for better rates than valet. The rooms were huge, comfortable and quiet at night.

The reception are very friendly. Parking is very expensive. $48 for one night. There was a bug on the bed. They said drinks and chips and chocolat are complimentary but there was no chips or chocolat when I arrived. I had to go back down to the lobby to ask and finally they were all out of chocolat.

“Room with a View” (of Parliament we assumed based on site’s photos) was booked online yet all rooms west-facing were gone at check-in. Corner suite upgrade (north-east facing) was kind of them yet sits adjacent to major construction site (didn’t know beforehand). Heavy drilling starts each day at 7AM (not a great start to Saturday). Complimentary glass of wine was nice at bar on top floor yet no seating and bar was full. Host sat us at a table before we went back to our rooms before the table reservation showed up 20 mins later. Staff really tried their best to accommodate. Not their fault. Location is nice as BYWARD area has lots of restaurants and shopping.
