Location is great , the rooftop is amazing. 24h reception is a big plus especially to the late arrivals

Good ting

The key system and the showers reflect the hostel was designed by someone who travelled a lot. You have your own key opening the hostel, the room and your own locker. Amazing. In the shower you have a specific curtain to protect your things. Very good idea. Hostel is a bit old in furniture but definitely good choice.

I like the location, the stuff were very good especially the guy from Serbia and the guy from Bangladesh they were really helpfull and very nice. I dislike everything at that hostel, very expensive hostel, they never provide their customers anything, service very bad, they charge you 37 Euro per punck bed, and never give you lotion for taking bath. the kitchen horrible, the fridge very small its enough for few persons. not safe at all cos i never found my beer and water after i put it the fridge. the prices for drinks at the rooftop was crazy expensive. No have any kind of services provides to the customers. Really very bad hostel.

Smells like a gym would be great spray or use some ambient fragance

Staff was nice but that was where the positives end. The building was 1000 degrees and the AC in the room did nothing. I don’t understand how much it was hotter inside the building than outside. The quality of the mattress and pillow were embarrassing. I could feel every spring in the mattress that is probably old as sin and the pillow was crap too. The hostel owner needs to put some money into the place because the comfort provided is pathetic. The main purpose of a hostel is sleep so if the beds are horrible and the AC does nothing then the hostel is a failure.

It is very well located but too noisy

Very dirty room. Mould on walls and smell of mould and mildew! extremely dirty and the dirt is built up on the sides of beds and on floors. no common area to relax, only pub area which is not idea for working and if weather is bad the deck isnt possible for working. Essentially only a bed and that is it. Microwave also needs replaced. 20EUR deposit is taken for key. Received it back at end of stay.

Marco Polo Hostel is a nice youth place to stay! Well located, close to busses stops and restaurantes. Everything was good, nice people in the room and staff. Highly recommend.

Very cheap hostel, but the bunk-beds bed are pretty uncomfortable. Good location close to bus stops to get to nicer parts of Malta, but the area itself doesn't offer much, at least not in November during a pandemic. It's probably much better in 'normal' times.

Everything was good. The size of the room is good and everything is well organized and clean. Service is pretty good and friendly. I recommend

Hostel and staff are good.But other customers are awful.There are many people made a noise at mid night. It was too loud.

I really enjoyed my stay at Marco Polo. It was a wonderful atmosphere and Shaun was a fantastic guide for my trip to Comino island. Great value and great locations. Will definitely return soon!

This place was brilliant. Staff were fantastic and really friendly. They run some great trips round the island and the evening entertainment is amazing as well. Really nice bunks and good clean showers ect. The location is perfect. Will be staying here again!! Deserves 6 stars
