Contrary to Hotels.com's website,dogs are NOT allowed,as we found out! Unluckily for us,there was a noisy party at the hotel who's music continued till 5am!

This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money

Nice hotel for a stopover en route to /from Santander, staff couldn't be more friendly!

The Hotel Vejo is a warm, friendly, comfortable hotel. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are very spacious. There is a set menu with wine for dining, with good choices. Service is excellent and all safety measures are in place. We would recommend to travellers. The mountain views from the rooms are outstanding!

Firstly the staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was large, clean, with a lovely view and at such a reasonable price. The hotel is so close to the main Santander to Burgos road it's ideal for us travelling from the Costa Blanca. We love the hotel and would suggest you try it and see for yourselves.

The Hotel Vejo is a warm, welcoming, family-run hotel which is convenient for travelling in the northern region of Spain. The staff are most accommodating, the rooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable and the view of the mountains is magnificent. The food is very good, focusing on local delicacies but also serving old favorites. We would highly recommend the Vejo to travellers in the area.

Convenient from motorway out of Santander. Good for overnight stop, great view from balcony, good parking and brilliant value dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast a bit of a let down.

Hotel is in prime location for travelers needing an overnight stop, but it needs some refurbishment. My non- smoking room smelled by like the inside of a smoker's car

Hotel is, restaurant is nice and good value. Immediate area is nothing special but the main village is lovely. Easy access and some beautiful scenery nearby.

The staff were good, however, the carpeted areas needed to be cleaner. The hotel is quite old and the rooms look tired, fortunately it was a cheap stay.

Very handy for motorway and Santander ferry, no complaints at all apart from beds being very hard!

The hotel was easy to find and had good parking. The friendly and helpful staff made us welcome. The hotel is neat and generally clean. Spacious rooms with splendid views from the balconies. Overall an excellent overnight stay on the way from the ferry at Santander en route to Portugal. If I had any comment, it would be that the room was a little warm - we turned down the radiator and opened the window to -1C! How much better though to be a little warm, than a little cold.

Hotel is a little dated, but clean with large, comfy rooms. Staff were great. Really friendly and helpful. Restaurant severed great, homemade food. Was an ideal stop off after ferry to Santander

Vejo is a well known hotel in Reinosa. My friends stayed at a modern bed and breakfast yet they were not happy as their rooms were small. Vejo is old yet everything is clean, rooms are big and the view is nice. Excellent staff and a very good restaurant.
