We had an amazing time at Fantasia Punta Cana property. We were there with our two toddlers and everying wen't so smooth for us. The stuff was supper accomodating, some language barrier, but they did everything to help us out. Our room was very spacious with separate sitting area where our kids hang out. The hotel provided two cribs that were a little smaller than the standard size but we still fit in them (sheets were provided). The bathroom was very spacius with hot tub and stand in shower. Condition was great. Bahia Principe is HUGE! I didn't realize that when I was booking. I don't believe the picture expedia is showing is of the property but I guess that doesn't matter (the beach lauout and pool location was different). The complex is set up of 6 different hotels (2 of them adults only). As VIP we were able to take advantage of all the amnemities they offered, restaurants, sports, entertainment spaces, it was truly great. Each hotel offeres kids club for different ages. The two we went to had very little to offer for 3 yr olds. It was pretty much a building with very few toys, some game consoles and table. A little dissapointing but we didn't plan to have our kids spend any time there anyway. Hotels were fully booked but you wouldn't be able to see that at restaurants or pools. Beach was busy but not too bad. Pool were beautiful, busy but not overcrowded, plenty of space for everyone. So many bars there was never a wait more than 2 min.

The entire staff was very helpful. Julia from entertainment and Valentina from the spa went above and beyond to ensure our needs were me. I'm looking forward to my next trip and would def recommend booking your next vacation at Bahia Principe.

This was actually our second time at this hotel – we visited three years ago and decided to come back, mainly because our daughter (now 13) had such amazing memories from the first trip. We were a bit nervous about returning to the same place, as we usually try different destinations, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The experience was even better than we remembered! What truly makes this place special is the people who work there. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and warm. They always have time for a smile, a kind word, and especially for children. After a day or two, many of them recognized us and greeted us like friends. It made us feel so welcome. We mostly ate at the buffet since we have kids, and we were always happy with the food. The selection was huge, everything was fresh and tasty, and we never had any stomach issues. Dinner in particular was delicious every night – so much variety and everything cooked perfectly. There’s truly something for everyone here. On the beach, you can treat yourself to a delicious coconut or pineapple with a splash of rum (or without) for just $5 – such a nice touch! Our 13-year-old daughter had a great time, and so did our 3-year-old son. The resort is perfect for families, and we always felt like we were in good hands. We also make a point of tipping the staff, because they really deserve it for the amazing job they do every day. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews – our experience was nothing but positive.

I loved my stay, staff was very friendly and accommodating; I also liked how they checked in on you while passing and engaged in friendly conversation. Dining options were good. My only complain they have to fix app, some parts of app didn’t work, like to order room service, and for VIP guest should include all dining options not just ones at checked in hotel.

Since having children we’ve been exploring kid oriented resorts, and we looked up the Bahía Príncipe Fantasia resort. To our surprise, this resort is listed as a 5 star resort. Please don’t be fooled! Nothing farther from reality. Being extremely -extremely - liberal and gracious it’s a 2 star, at most. Pool towels are in serious need of a change because of stains and discoloration. The kids water park at the Fantasia needs to be closed down and refurbished ASAP. One slide was closed down. Two of the pool’s drains, located on the floor of the pool, were exposed and they just put a “caution wet floor” yellow cone on top of them. The stairs to the slides and other play areas had soooo much rust it made you think if your kids have their tetanus shot up to date. It’s truly a security and health hazard. Food was constantly cold, no matter where you ate: buffet, themed restaurant, pool restaurant. The pool side pizza was the only thing served hot and it was because they made them instantly. Furthermore, food had a pretty questionable appearance and presentation. It was pretty bad, so we opted to have a substantial breakfast, skip lunch or snack on fries and have dinner outside the hotels. But beware… the hotel has a policy that if you are using a car service to pick you up you need to inform it and they need to approve it at least 24 hours prior. The room was horrible…mold, damaged furniture, ripped curtains, etc. In general…horrible experience.

Terrible, for two occasions we were left without electricity, the buffet restaurant was bad, the children's video game area had no air conditioning, the bed was uncomfortable, there were no activities for children, and the worst part is that I was bitten by a centipede. The best part is its beach.

The resort is clean every night they have a crew cleaning around the pool area and surrounding areas. We arrived a few hours early and were accommodated nicely. Once you are checked in nothing is explained to you, no activities that are available, how the resort works etc. I was under the impression there was a lot more to do then there actually was once we got there. All the excursions are extra and I HIGHLY. Recommend you do not purchase anything from

The hospitality from the time that we walked in until the end was terrible nonexistent. The first day we went to the pool we were told that we cannot have a towel one only one per day you can exchange any the next day we go to get towels. There is no towels and the lady had no explanation or bothering to ask the upper hand to see where the towels are or simply telling you just wait. Five minutes. New towels are coming just no answer. The staff are just not trained well for hospitality. And we felt like hotel only cared on getting you to become a member of the exclusive club and that was the only way you were gonna get good service in good rooms. The hotel activities were great. The food was also not bad so to go to this hotel you just have to lower your expectation to a two star not five star.

I would like to give a big shout out to front desk Staff Joan and Israel from the moment we arrived which was shortly after 3pm they made me feel very special. I was celebrating my birthday and they upgraded me to VIP which came with a Castle View . The view was amazing. I was very happy about the Birthday Sign on the door to my room and the snack tray welcome. The Room and Grounds were all Very Very clean. The restaurants amazing , we did 4 and all were really good. The quality of food was good and no one went hungry. We enjoyed the beach and splash pad at the other hotel. Thank you to all for making my Birthday memorable. I will be back.

We had a wonderful stay over spring break. We had VIP access to all of the resorts through Expedia. This was great because the food at our part of the resort was not very good and was kind of overrun by children. Obviously, that’s to be expected when it’s a children, focused resort, But the buffet food also wasn’t good compared to the other buffets at the resorts on the property. The kids club is very much suited for younger children, and my eight-year-old wanted nothing to do with it. I would have stayed somewhere else, but I chose this location for the kids club. The other locations were more luxurious, the properties like the buildings, were better kept up. The pool was fabulous, the swim up bar was great, and the staff was top-notch. Unlike Mexico, not many of the staff spoke English, but it wasn’t hard to communicate. Except for peanut butter, which sounds nothing like peanut butter in Spanish. Lol. If we went back, we would not stay at this part of the resort, and I would say this resort is best if you have the VIP bracelet. It only gets you into the other restaurants, as far as I can tell, but that alone is worth it. All in all, it was a great spring break.
