The location is perfect, very convenient near the subway station, Dotonbori is less than 150m away, and Shinsaibashi is also nearby

Good, you have to take your shoes off before you step on the tatami in the hotel lobby. Onsen also wow.

A nice ryokan for Osaka city centre. Room was on the small side, however this is common for hotels in Japan. Booked for the onsen, there was a reasonably sized onsen for the hotel, with an indoor pool and a “semi outdoor” pool. Hotel provided free ramen for supper which was great. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a pocket friendly ryokan in Osaka city centre
