I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Proteas! The hotel is immaculate and very well appointed. A lovely family owns and runs it and their attention to detail is evident. The rooms and furnishings are modern and comfortable. Every room has private outdoor seating as well. The pool was perfect! The food was delicious…homemade on site. The hotel is a short walk to beaches, restaurants and bus service. The area is quiet and safe. I can highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. Enjoy this Naxos gem!

Wonderful hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the beach. Very clean and spacious suite with a jacuzzi and view of the sea. Would highly recommend.

Property was in impeccable condition. The pool was amazing for our son, and the proximity to the beach was great.

The staff was very helpful and attended to all our needs, even helped us carry our luggage to the room. The room was clean with a bit of sea view. We decided to rent a car and they had guest parking available. Location is very ideal with 4 minutes walk to the beach and few minutes to the nearby restaurants for various meal options.

The hotel room and hot tub was amazing. Staff were also super friendly and helpful. Would come back and stay here again. Highly recommend

The family-run Proteas Hotel is excellent in every respect. The staff are amazing - informative, helpful, warm and friendly. The location is lovely, on a hill-top overlooking the sea just outside of Agios Prokopolis. It’s only a short walk to the beach or the bus stop that will take you into Chora, the main town for just Euros 2! Everything was sparkling, with daily room cleaning. The swimming pool offered a welcome relief from the heat of the afternoon. The hotel offers breakfast and light meals, which were well prepared. The guests were quiet and the peaceful evenings on our terrace were not disturbed. We loved the place and hope to come back again someday!

This was exactly what I was looking for-- a quiet studio a little away from everything, but still close enough to be convenient. It's close to some of the best beaches and not far from the main town.

Great location within a close walk to the beach and town but on the outskirts so nice and quiet. Lovely well kept facilities throughout the hotel including the pool and food provided. The room was spacious, modern and well equiped.

This was a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for us to explore Naxos. The people who run the place are very nice, and very helpful. Having the beautiful pool was a plus as well, it being a bit hot while we were there. The room was very big, and having a kitchenette was nice. We loved staying at Hotel Proteas!

This hotel was wonderful. The area was quiet yet close to beach & restaurants. The family that owns it is friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Perfect combination!

Hotel Proteas is absolutely beautiful! We were blown away when we turned up by our room that was 5 metres from the pool. It is a basic hotel but it is done so beautifully. The staff around the hotel work tirelessly and it is clear they love the hotel. A couple of pointers if you’re staying I would ask for a room next to the pool as we absolutely loved it, it is very quiet around the pool and it is quite small but the local beach is a 5 minute walk and is lovely. The only one improvement I would recommend is that they put up a shower holder (wall holder) as you have to hold the shower when showering. I had an amazing stay as my first time in Naxos I loved the island and the hotel and I can’t wait to go back!

Maria is a very nice and sweet person. She accomodated us for the last day with our luggages. Everything as perfect!!!!

This hotel is a great place to stay can not falt it, its clean and well maintained the family who run and own the hotel are lovely and are willing to help. The hotel is in a great location 5 minutes walk to a great beach and 10 minutes walk to a great selection of restaurants and bars, it has a great clean and safe pool area, all the rooms have balconys ours was great with stunning sunset views in fact just great view's, I know it's only 3 stars, but I've stayed in 4 stars hotels that aren't as nice as this place, they also do a great bacon toastie for breakfast. Thanks very much for a great 17 night stay, and if I get out there for some more windsurfing I will stay with you again

Close to beach and great restaurants. Theh were very helpful to help arrange car rental and tfey kept me informed daily of dock strike and how it wiuld affect our ferry there.

Very clean hotel, choose a room that’s not on the street level. It’s very hard to shower without making the whole bathroom wet. Very clean pool, 15min walk to beach and Prokopios restaurants

The room itself was very spacious but simple. It had a double and a single bed. Also a kitchenette with sink, cooktop and fridge. The bathroom was basic but adequate. The pool area was very nice with sun lounges. The location was good as we could walk to the town and beach at Prokopios. The bus stop was only a 5 minute walk away also so easy to get around. We had difficulty finding the hotel initially. Take the bus from Naxos port to Prokopios and get off at the stop called Lago Mare. Then go along the road that runs off the main road and to the west. It is only a few minutes walk and the hotel is on your right. The staff were very helpful with advice and even booked us a tour. They sell bus tickets at the front desk.
