Secure, spacious, quiet, friendly. Room not vacuumed, coffee not replenished, laundry not fresh, not ironed or folded properly. Room far too cold, unable to adjust the temperature, staff had to provide heater.

All the food is of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet is vast and varied. The bed was very comfortable. I will be staying there again in a couple of weeks before flying out of Oslo.

Love this place - we wish we had stayed here 2 nights instead of just 1. We got there late so were not able to enjoy the spa. Love the comfy sitting area in each room. The restaurant was fabulous - great dinner and service even though we got there close to closing time. View was nice. Really enjoyed this hotel! Highly recommend!!

A beautiful location with several buildings. The hallways are decorated and there are interesting pieces of Norwegian history here and there.

Clean wide and neat place kind staff

This hotel had the most comfortable bed and cleanest bed linen in all the hotels we have stayed in on our trip. The man at reception was extremely friendly as were the breakfast staff. The hotel is a great surprise with the history and the quality of the setup of everything. Our room was a basic but comfortable room. There is a small supermarket within 100metres. It is a tranquil location and would recommend.

I stayed two nights at Sundvolden Hotel. The front office and restaurant staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay at this historic hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing as well.

Beautiful room, spacious by European standards. We ate at the hotel Restuarant and the food was very tasty and quite creative. The location was convenient as we wanted to stay 30 to 60 minutes outside of Oslo.
