One of our favorite hotels of our trip. Excellent location along the ocean walk with easy access to the ocean and a very nice pool. Lots of pool chairs available and very family friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything you could possibly imagine. The staff were extremely helpful and Nice. Parking was easy. Short 20 minute walk into town. Views from the rooms were incredible. We extended our stay with a late check out, which was amazing because it allowed us to explore the area with a quick drive over to Rovinj without having to worry about parking or luggage security. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Sea! Hotel! Amazing!

Hotel was closed/not operating and no one informed us about it. We went all the way to Opatija to find out hotel in not working. Hotel Telephone center was indifferent and rude. Bostjan

NIce clean hotel at the beach, children and dog friendly. However the food was not up to standards. Large dinner buffet with greasy food, lots of meat and almost no option for vegetarians, only a few side dishes and pizza. Breakfast buffet was not much better, Little fruit or cereal, no fresh fruit juice but an astonishing number of meat dishes!

The hotel has a great location, beautiful view from the rooms. Rooms where clean. And no major complaints. Staff was friendly.

Hotel is fully renovated and is about 30 min walk to downtown Opatija along the sea. We loved the location because it is away from the busy Opatija but still close enough. Rooms come with balcony and an amazing seaview. There was a confusion regarding the booked package when we arrived but it got sorted out the next day. A selection of drinks is included at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel has a nice swimming pool area, but the beach is rather small still good enough to take a swim. It would be nice if they would have water kettle in rooms otherwise everything was great.

Chose this hotel because of it's location...close to Opatija but not in the middle of town...and it's onsite parking. Room was fresh and clean, the furnished balcony had a lovely view of the sea, bed was super comfortable. A wall socket on each side of the bed. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful with lots to choose from and something for everyone...including beer and wine as well as soft drinks! Beautiful pool (although it was too chilly to use while we were there) and lots of animation programs for kids and teens. It's about a 30 minute walk into the main part of town if you don't have a car...and parking is not easy in Opatija! The one let down was the shower. Although it was a new walk-in shower and I was so looking forward to using it, there was inadequate water pressure that just dribbled from the shower head. Not only that but the water temperature in both the shower and sink was lukewarm. This was when the hotel was not nearly full as it was during shoulder season in early May, I'm not sure what the problem was but was disappointed. Still, the rest of the room and the hotel was faultless.

Opatija and the surrounding areas are beautiful! It was a nice hotel with great views. The included dinner and breakfast were great!

Disappointed because we had a garden view/ public walk way NOT AN OCEAN VIEW as stated on our booking. NO PRIVACY when approached staff after checking in was told nothing they could do. If you get a ground floor room your view is garden not ocean and you don’t have privacy as people are walking by constantly. Misleading & deceptive to sell one thing & get another

It’s in a very good location - mins away from ICICI beach. Hotel looked very good and so were rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It would be difficult to praise this hotel more highly! Everything from the friendly and helpful staff to the fantastic location of the hotel, the large, impeccably clean rooms which I think all have sea views and balconies to the quality of the food (we were half board) was Perfect! Many thanks to everyone at Hotel Georgio! We hope we can visit again soon!

Back in June, I had a pleasant stay at Remisens Ambassador for business and fell in love with Opatija, so I decided to bring family back to the riviera for summer holiday. As I found that Giorgio II in the same Remisens group was opened just a month ago and the pictures on their website looked nice, I gave it a go. I have to mention that the price was irresistible too, compared to other 4-star-or-more-hotels in Croatia. I stayed there with my husband and daughters (age 15 and 19). We loved the infinity pool, water park in the sea, and morning exercise classes. We didn't have to fight for deck chairs by the pool in the morning (water park side can be busier tho). Fresh beach towels are provided everyday which I loved. Only downside is the location. It was too far to walk to the busy part of Opatija and although we rented a car, it was hard to park in the centre of the riviera. It was full-board basis and we stayed there for 4 nights. But we ate out once in Opatija and once in Rovinj otherwise you'd feel too isolated and bored. But if you decide to go out after dinner, the chances you can find a place to park is zero in the peak holiday season. Overall, it is a good family hotel that gives you a base to explore wonderful Croatia and good value for money. If you are traveling as a couple, love a bit of luxury, and want to stay closer to the busy area, I would definitely recommend to stay in Ambassador though.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel, Pool und eigener Bereich zum Meer, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Gutes Essen und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Alles Top, Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

Fijne vakantie en een zeer mooi hotel. Goeie ligging, meer dan voldoende ligzetels aan zwembad en zee. Leuk verblijf voor kinderen door aquapark aan zee. Familiekamer was top! Vriendelijk personeel! Het eten was wat eentoning, na drie dagen had je zowat alles al gehad en kwam er nog weinig variatie in.

A kiemelkedő lokáció mellett sajnos meg kell említeni, hogy borzasztóan hangos a hotel, pedig minden szoba a tengerre néz. Hiába nemrég épült, minden zaj áthallatszik, ha felettünk járkáltak, akkor lehetetlen volt aludni, és a folyosóról is minden hang tompítás nélkül behallatszik. Láthatóan igénytelen az épület kivitelezése. Az egyéb dokgok rendben voltak, az étel közepesnél jobby az emberek kedvesek.
