The location was convenient. However, the room was tiny and difficult to enter with our bags (up a narrow staircase). The shower lacked towel or grab bars. Cold breakfast only.

Very welcoming and friendly host. Very accommodating to my request for earlier check in. Room was perfectly adequate for me and my daughter. Bit of a lack of privacy for the en-suite. Self service breakfast was well supplied

The room had two single beds (old) and a WC/shower room (this unheated and remained wet during the 4-day stay. Continental breakfast which included a variety of items (sliced cheese packet mould green). Parking available and good WIFI reception. Road noise not an issue. Depending on weather, would be more appreciative if not a winter stay. Hosts very nice and welcoming.

I felt at home in the b&b and liked that you could get your own breakfast and there were facilities such as a microwave should you need it. It was very convenient that it was so close to Glenside university as well. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Run by a lovely couple who gave plenty of information on arrival. The place was clean and well looked after with a selection of food and drinks for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable especially the duvets.

Checkin was very friendly and helpful. Photos a bit misleading as kitchen area is shared between three rooms. Bathroom was pretty cold (studio room) and shower cubicle cosy/small with a general musty smell. Bed was comfortable but location on the main road meant it’s a noisy night if you’re a light sleeper. Continental breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.

Very good value. Was less than half the price of most other options in and around Bristol and the rooms are fine, the property is interesting and everything was very simple. Owner was very helpful and lovely.

Bed uncomfortable, took ages to get hot water through the taps but the shower was OK. Was OK for a 1 night stop over

Really enjoyed our short stay here. Lovely room with an adjoining small room with writing table and chair. It does have about six wooden stairs inside the bedroom door which would not be suitable for some. The choice of breakfast items was really good many different cereals, cheeses ham and fruit. Owner very nice.

Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover.
