Robin at the front desk and Cozumel at the bar both did a great job. They went above and beyond 10/10

Nice hotel with a fabulous view. The staff are good. The only thing is the city is really small and nothing in there.

The staff here was really great. We took a short trip for my husbands birthday, and they went above and beyond to make the stay special. The only downside of this hotel was that some common areas and the room wasn't in the best shape. Overall nice hotel, for a reasonable price. Would go stay again.

The only downfall to the stay was that the hotel is under construction period the staff I spoke with checkin? and Marina were gracious and attentive hosts. I would recommend this hotel to anybody period

Even though the property was in the midst of renovations, the staff made us very comfortable. The food in the dining room was excellent, the rooms were nicely outfitted and the staff were very helpful. Great location, just outside town with views from the side of a ski hill.

The Guesthouse is not with the actual hotel, it’s about a 150m walk. You have to check in, eat breakfast and check out at the hotel, when staying in the guesthouse. The guesthouse itself has a great restaurant with very friendly staff. However, the room on the second floor is a bit dated. The main hotel is terrific and breakfast, too, was great. In future I would stay in the hotel rather than the guesthouse.

We travel by bus and train only, so this hotel met our needs - it's on two bus lines from the Stadt station, though we walked into town (downhill) on a number of occasions. It's on the ski hill just south of town. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when checking in/out or when dining. They're in the middle of a massive renovation and new-build, but we never heard a thing. Very peaceful & quiet, with the occasional soothing rumble of a train from down in the valley. Stunning views from our room, which had a huge wrap-around balcony. The room was enormous even by American standards, as was the bath. (Fun item: Medicine cabinets swung out from the wall, revealing tiny windows to the outside!) Comfy bed and sitting area, though watching TV at night was awkward, as it was way across the huge room on the desk. Tons of storage so suitcases aren't under foot. Excellent (and free) wifi in the room. The only thing lacking was phone service from the room; we could only call the front desk. Desk staff, however, allowed us to use the office phone to call the airlines when we needed to reschedule our flight on short notice. Food was tasty and plentiful at breakfast and dinner. Lovely short walk uphill to the Berghutte is recommended. Lovely short walk downhill to the bar/restaurant at their sister property is also suggested. Walking trails are plentiful and well-marked.

Nice hotel in a great littel town, superb views both in summer and winter. Good for sking with lift at the hotel. We were visiting friends and the hotel was convenient for us, but very nice and comfortable with a new bathroom. Big rooms and facilities. Very nice. Freudenstadt is a lovely town, worth visiting.

wunderbar mit tollem Pool und tollem Ausblick in den Schwarzwald

Das Fritz Lauterbad liegt oberhalb Freudenstadt im Wald und wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Waldblick. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Pool und der Außenbereich, sowie die große Terrasse und das Frühstück. Wir waren das zweite Mal hier und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen. Fünf Sterne *****

Im Hotelkomplex befindet sich ein hervorragender Wellness- und Entspannungsbereich mit 3 Saunen, Pool und ausreichend Ruhemöglichkeiten. Der Preis des Hotels ist etwas gehoben, allerdings wiegen das Ambiente? die Sauberkeit und das Personal sowie die Küche diesen Aufwand vollends wieder auf. Wir waren jetzt bereits 2 mal dort und werden wieder kommen!
