This is a fantastic hotel. I read the reviews before I booked it and several of the reviewer had appreciated the "attention to detail" and the super helpful staff. I am glad to say that those points were super accurate. The place is super clean, beautifully and tasefully decorated, rooms are big and super comfortable, breakfast is perfect. Basically, I dont see where they can be better. As a business traveler you desire to get such a hotel everytime. By the way, the location of the hotel is right opposite to St. Regis on Beijing West road. I was actually supposed to stay at St. Regis, but had to change to The Drama....no complaints though. Overall, it is a hotel where the amenities and room are that of a five star hotel and the staff makes you feel like you are in a 7 star hotel.

This place had a very artsy feel to it, and the staff pays close attention to filling every room with little details that make it very visually appealing and different.

had the "night" room. Was a bit too dark. Will request a brighter room for work next time.

It's a boutique hotel that is trying hard with form, but missing a lot of the function. I had to check out after one night, because I learned that the whole building either has AC or heat. And they switched over to heat a week ago. My room was 78, and I couldn't turn on the AC. Individual temp control is a dealbreaker for thisnlevel of hotel. I hope they get this fixed, otherwise I don't recommend coming in a temperature shoulder season. Other little things made it less comfortable. It was all about design, but then functional things like a light in front of the sink mirror is needed (it was above and behind me, so I had a dark shadow on my face trying to get ready), mildew smell (probably from it being warm and damp), no drawers for clothes. I can tell they're trying. I hope they get there.
