I stayed more than 7 days at Hotel Dedeman in the city of Tokat. And now i can say the hotel gives what you pay for, the rooms and services are okay for the price, talking about the location is very good, in the city center of Tokat and also with a bus stop, supermarket, and restaurants in front, This makes it easy if you do not know the city. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is fine for a normal stay.
However, I cannot give 5 stars because I had some problems, the hotel is advertised as 5 stars on social media, but the reception staff do not speak English, not even basic English. I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room, and even using a translator, they could not help me so If you do not speak Turkish, they will not try to solve your problems, It feels like the staff work there for money, not to help guests!
I was visiting the city with friends, and after more than 7 hours with no solution from the hotel worker, I had to ask my friend for help, and the staff were not empathetic and were even upset.
The hotel is okay for location and basic comfort, but the customer service is very limited if you do not speak Turkish.
