Staff was friendly and welcoming. Decent continental breakfast included! The hotel could definitely use some updates both major and minor so although it was clean on the surface there was a lot of rust (like on the door frames) and wear. Beds are extra firm! Even upgrading the decor might make a difference! Overall positive experience though!

Lots of parking, great pool and clean rooms. Breakfast was great!

The building and room were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and well presented. The room was a bit dark to my taste, and a desk lamp would have helped greatly.

The breakfast was not very good, juice machine wasnt working and instant coffee.

This is our favorite place to stay in Oscoda! The rooms are always clean, staff is great, and the rates are the most affordable around for a few days getaway.

Very quiet.

The room was very nice, the staff was friendly, the bed was very hard, if the bed was softer and more comfortable I’d have given a straight 5 stars all the way across the board.

Didn’t like difficult to open/close aluminum windows. Window locks did not work. Bed was hard as rock. No entrance light in room.

There is no hot tub they built a room over it an the sauna is storage now there was equipment stored in the pool area an was not inviting at all the bed is hard as a rock also the breakfast area needs to be cleaned I was very disappointed

They did not make up our room during our three night stay.

Very clean and spacious room

The room was super clean. Front desk very responsive to requests. My only recommendation for maintenance: Light bulbs in fixtures next to bed were too harsh, try using warm rated bulbs instead. Otherwise, all was good.

We arrived pretty late friday night after a long drive, they upgraded our room to a suite for no charge. The room was very nice, with a very comfortable king bed and a couch in a little living area attached to the room and separated by a double door. Definitely will stay here again.

It was just ok

We arrived and found out that the hotel is under renovations. I feel we were paying full price for a room that was in the midst of being renovated, along with the rest of the hotel. It would have been nice to know this prior to booking our rooms. Our bathroom door wouldn't shut, because it was leaning, the windows wouldn't lock shut unless forced, the guest laundry has furniture or something stored in their, the ice machine at the end of the hall was missing, the doors leading to the outside would not lock, because the electronic locking mechanism were missing. There was painters tape over the door frame & bathroom door frame as if they had just recently painted or in the middle of it. The faucet in the tub was hooked up backwards; the hot water came on just by bearly turning the knob near the "C" mark on the dial, but it got colder the closer we got to the "H" mark on the dial.

We have stayed here 2xs. This handicap room with a king bed was not comfortable. Bed was hard and the pillows need to be softer. Other than that we were very happy with service.!
