Lovely hotel. Huge rooms many with multiple floors. More like suites! Each room different. Many traditional features kept. Great chef. Sunday dinner excellent. Friendly attentive staff.

Our stay felt luxurious and relaxing. Room was very comfortable and quiet. We also had the opportunity to use the pool which was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. It's a bit harder getting here with public transportation. We walked from Pontyclun station which was okay but others may want to make sure they pre-arrange transportation if needed.

The hall and courtyard were beautiful and the staff were welcoming. Expect a big spend if you're having a meal. We were placed in an accessible room despite not having accessibility needs. We could hear every footstep in the room above during the night and from early morning, it was very loud and would benefit from sound proofing measures. We thought it was a staff or storage room above us hence the constant walking around, but were told by a staff member it was a regular room.

Great property, very clean, very well-kept, good service! Reserving breakfast was a bit restricting as you can only book it the day before, before 10pm for the discounted price. One suggestion would be to give the flexibility of booking it alongside the initial room reservation

Excellent stay

Elegant and modern hotel with excellent dining. Spa was nice but small.

What a delightful surprise ! Our stay was an afternoon tea treat and overnight stay for our 70th birthdays. We had a deluxe room with complimentary use of the Spa facilities. Their website was easy to follow which made booking so straightforward. The BLOK restaurant was stunning with an intimate atmosphere. Our meal was delicious ( although we were still full after our afternoon tea!) I’d definitely recommend Laneley Hall to my friends.

Stayed for 2 nights, all staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very stylish and clean. Tge Sunday lunch and breakfasts were delish, would highly recommend this hotel and will return to stay again. It was a little dificult to find, the sign near the main road was not easily visible due to being a bit obscured by a large tree.

Place is beautiful, food is amazing only downside is the spa only has a sauna and no steam room, there is an outdoor heated pool but at £25 for an hour is a bit pricey

Nothing is to much with the staff… so relaxing, and food in the block restaurant was incredible! Had such a wonderful 3 day stay… just what the doctor ordered Thankyou very much to all the staff at Lanely hall

Very large room and bathroom. The BLOK restaurant was excellent. Only negative was the lack of towel rails and shelf for toiletries in the shower.

Excellent place to stay and relax

A very nice hotel but a bit surprised to find it in a residential area. They had just increased their breakfast from £14.99 to £19.99 which I thought was a lot but did give us a refund as the information given to us on arrival still showed the lower price. Our bedroom was lovely but very hot even with the windows open. We did not use the spa or pool so can't comment on them. The food in the main restaurant was excellent but only used it once. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the catering staff.

Lovely hotel in the centre of a housing estate

Disappointed over swimming availability. We had booked a two night stay with a spa treatment. The blond receptionist was far from welcoming when we popped our heads round to find out where the swimming and spa facilities were located. Times for using the pool were restricted as it was also open to non residents. Unfortunately, times did not suit so we were unable to use the pool. In fact we never got to see the pool.
