We had a nice stay at Hana Mana cottage. It's very clean with a big kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't prepare to cook and we didn't manage to rent a car. We didnt buy any foods for dinner and the owner kindly provided ramen, fruits and fresh eggs : ) to us The mattress is very cozy and we had a sound sleep. The garden is nicely managed and we very much like to stay in the same place if we revisit Yokushima!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hana Mana Cottage. We stayed for two night and wished we had longer. The property was amazing - the cottage is situated in an incredibly well kept garden in beautiful Yakushima. It is a short(ish) walk to the Senpiro Falls. The cottage itself was lovely - it had plenty of space to relax was clean and comfortable. It was the ideal place to come back to after our hike around Yakushima. Our hosts were very kind and helpful - and we even got to meet a couple of friendly cats on the property! I would definitely recommend this property and hope we can one day come back.

Amazing cottage set in a beautiful location with views of the surrounding mountains and forests that reminded us of Hawaii. The property features an outdoor onsen, a well equipped kitchen and is comfortably furnished throughout. Hana Mana is the perfect getaway for a couple or family visiting Yakushima.

We were only able to stay 2 nights but we fell in love with this beautiful property and hope to come back for longer!

this is a great cottage, so quiet and peaceful and perfect to relax after a long hike. my wife and I were the only guests, so we had the kitchen living room and whole the whole house to ourselves. the owners are very accommodating, also they met us when our rental car gps took us to the wrong hotel and we followed then to the hana mana. there are mountain views and nice gardening everywhere on the property. we loved it!
