Great place to stay!

The location of the Fairfield was great, and the people we spoke with on staff were friendly. However, we found an issue with a broken pocket door that had come off of its track on our first night there. We called down to the desk and let them know, but nothing was done about it that first night or the following morning. We asked if we could switch rooms to one with a functioning bathroom door, but we were told no. We went down and spoke with the person at the desk later on day two and someone did eventually come and fix it. But for a family of four all sharing one bathroom, it was a challenge to physically lift and try to close the door each time someone needed the bathroom. Ideally rooms would be checked for major issues, though I understand that nobody can catch everything at a busy hotel. However, once the problem was known about, it would have been best if the problem were addressed right away or at least if there was some kind of communication from the hotel regarding what the plan would be.

The lady that checked me was so nice, friendly, accommodating, don’t remember her full name it starts with J. She was awesome! Room was clean. I was there for only one night.

Great location next to many good restaurants and walking distance to most tourist attractions. Unfortunately there are a lot of unhoused people downtown. Hotel is fine, small rooms to be expected. Service was fine - we had issues with the room (AC barely felt, window panel broken, dirty rug, stain on sheet, broken AC vent opening, shower door did not close etc.) but they promptly changed our room. Shower was good with very hot water, but lacking barrier to block water. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast but service was excellent and everything was replenished quickly and the person in charge was very nice.

For the price this hotel can not be beat. Rooms are quiet. Location is great for shows and food. Staff is super friendly. Beds and showers more than adequate. Our go to place on center city Philly.

Had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was kind and friendly, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. The location is walkable and conveniently close to Chinatown and the Fashion District. Overall, a wonderful experience, definitely a 10/10!

Everything was good except a parking that we had to use wallet parking and it was too expensive.

It was a very nice calm stay. Beautiful breakfast !! Although , the Lobby floor was some what dirty. Maybe someone called out . It was alarming . But they all made up for it. Thank you !

Liked the fact that I was able to check in a little earlier. The only thing that I didn’t like was the shades in the room. I felt closed in as closing shades made it very dark and gloomy. Something more welcoming that allows you to see out / while light shines in / while still feeling secure and having privacy is more inviting! Thank you; I was satisfied with the friendly staff on July 5 and just overall thru July 7.

Room was “cozy.” Not a lot of surface space to put things down. Seems people never stop honking their horns in that area. Bed was mid. Huge bathroom with awesome shower. We were on a corner and had so many nice windows. Parking fees were outrageous, but the valet was very responsive. It is a fun, super active town.

We asked for towels several times and didn’t get any until the following morning after I walked to the front desk. Someone wasn’t able to shower in our group until we got an extra towel.

It is nice hotel, but room was so small that two people can't move at the same time.

The room was small but in excellent condition. The bathroom was really nice, modern, with a great shower. The hotel lobby, because this is an old building, looked a little shabby. It could use a nicer upgraded floor and a more elegant front desk.
