The almata hotel it was definitely clean, spacious. It had a studio filled to it. Fully workable, kitchen, closely located to everything. The price was awesome. I believe mainly because there's nobody really at the front desk. They're there when you first check-in, they're extremely helpful. After that, you really don't need them. You come and go-as-you-please. It's like having a mini apartment. Definitely located to everything closely to all restaurants, markets, shopping. Anything you want to do any excursions? It's located, I'm close to those as well. My friends and I and my husband had a really great time and enjoyed our stay.There would definitely do it again

Great hotel in the heart of Porto. Perfect location for exploring Porto on foot, staff is very friendly and the rooms are amazing. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 year old son. I specifically looked for a property with a kitchen, a crib, and a hotel that was walkable to many places. This had everything we needed, the room was very spacious, and there were grocery stores close by to keep our son’s food on hand. I absolutely recommend this place for families. The only negative I will mention is that the beds were very firm and a little too hard for our liking. So, just keep that in mind.

Great location. Kind staff at the front desk. Free bottle of port was provided upon arrival. Some water damage on the ceiling in the shower, and water damage on the counter area around the bathroom sink. Otherwise a lovely room.

Goncalvo was a terrific city guide and gave us a lot of good recommendations for sightseeing and was an excellent host. For our next visit we will stay here again also because of the central location.

Beautifully appointed, very spacious, plenty of storage options.

The staff were efficient and quick to help me check in and check out. I thought I had lost my ring (it was in my purse the whole time…) and they offered to help look! The room is spacious and clean. It’s very easy to walk out and go to the metro or train stations. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

This place is absolutely lovely, good location, clean, and staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back again when visiting Porto. Very clear and detailed info about places around Porto on arrival as well as room tour with Sandra, and assistance from Leondua. You all amazing! Thanks all the cleaners for the brilliant housekeeping!

Rooms are clean and in a well located area to sights. Internet was not good. We constantly had to log into Wifi

...after we had specifically answered the question "When will you check in?" and we were right on time. No one at front desk; no note; no call; no text; no email; no nothing. After 10 minutes on the sidewalk we were lucky to be let in by exiting guest who helpfully told us "I haven't seen anyone all day." Reached some one by phone and told "She had to go to another property. She'll be there any minute. 15 minutes later, 30 minutes after we arrived, someone shows up and checks us in. We were surprised that she was not apologetic.

The hotel is central to all attractions and there is easy access in & out of the building. The rooms are spacious and clean but the beds are very hard. Basic kitchen facilities including a fridge.
