A beautiful place with great food, view and pool.

Elia is la lovely hotel owned by wonderful hosts. The breakfast is plentiful, the view from the roof terrace where dinner is served breathtaking. The pool is wonderful too.

What a great find. Secluded, quiet, very relaxing. They also have a beautiful pool, which is not mentioned here on Expedia. This place is NOT easy to find. Google Maps and Apple Maps both had me going in the wrong directions. There is a small sign on the road that I happened to spot and turned off there...down a very old, narrow, unpaved country road for a couple of hundred meters. I thought I was lost again until I saw the parking lot with a sign pointing to reception.

Second time visiting, and will return again next year . Fabulous location , very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at Elia for our honeymoon and the experience could not have been nicer. Its a gorgeous out of the way spot in the hills that combines authentic Cretan charm with a comfort and level of care appreciated by foreign travellers. The food, views, pool, spa/yoga services and general hospitality were all fantastic. If we had any criticisms, it would be that our room and balcony did not feel very private: the room was directly over the outdoor breakfast tables so opening blinds and windows felt like being overlooked. We also shared a balcony with a couple who were akways on theirs smoking cigarettes. Perhaps the hotel could consider adding a partition so that guests with adjoining balconies can enjoy more privacy. Overall, Elia is a gem and we will definitely return one day.

Fatastische Aussicht. Tolle Zimmer, super Frühstück. Auch der Pool ist groß und generell ist es eine sehr großzügige Anlage mit vielen kleinen, gemütlichen Sitzecken. Kleines Minus: sehr dünne Wände sodass ich mal einen Nachbar auf Toilette sitzen gehört hab 😬

Pulizia e cura del luogo, personale gentile, presente ma non invadente, camera spaziosa e con un look tradizionale, il tutto inserito in un contesto bucolico tra alberi di ulivo e giardini fioriti. Sicuramente faremo fatica a dimenticarci la pace di questo luogo. Grazie!

Pro: Remote and quiet location Con: No WiFi reception / internet on our room, trails are not usable when it has rained a lot

Hier kan je tot rust komen. Het terras waar je kan ontbijten of dineren heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Er is voldoende cultuur en wandelingen in de omgeving om je dagen te vullen en ter afsluiting kan je een duik nemen in het zwembad. Het personeel staat altijd voor je klaar met een lach op hun gezicht. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier.

Detten var en svært positiv overaskelse! Anbefalkes på det sterkeste. Nydelig mat, fantastisk sted og framfor alt vennlige mennesker :-) Hvis jeg skulle driste meg til et lite tips, så er det å fjerne de lave buskene mellom basenget og olivenhagen, slik at den fantastiske utsikten over havet kan nytes fra bassengkanten ... sammen med en kald drink :-)

Sehr sauber, täglicher Zimmerservice. Es wird gewischt und gibt frische Handtücher. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön, das Wasser wurde jedoch im Laufe des Aufenthalts immer trüber. Es gibt's die Möglichkeit abends dort zu essen, das Preisniveau ist etwas höher als in den üblichen Tavernen/Restaurant. Im ganzen hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir haben uns gut erholt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel war sehr persönlich, man kannte die Gäste nach einigen Tagen und hat sich zum gemeinsamen Essen getroffen. Ein großes Lob an den unglaublich warmherzigen Koch, welcher seit über 15 Jahren kommt und einzigartige, traditionelle Küche zubereitet. Alle Daumen hoch :)

Séjour au top, petit coin de paradis au calme, avec des hôtes aux petits soins et de très bons conseils. Superbe piscine, chambre très confortable, bien décorée. Petits déjeuners généreux, beaucoup de choix. Vraiment un séjour agréable et reposant, loin des gros hôtels et de la foule. Encore merci pour vos attentions

Eine Oase der Ruhe inmitten von Olivenhainen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns jeden Abend ein sehr leckeres Menü zu einem guten Preis bereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Really lovely place located between olive trees. Can only be reached by car. Good food and atmosphere.
