My choice to stay at Classique Inn is more on subjective considerations because I want to reminisce and fulfill the promise to the owner & staff that I will visit again if I come to Yangon. I stayed at another hotel for 7 days on business, before moving to the Classique Inn. Because in 2013 I stayed at the Classique Inn for more than 70 days in 3 work visits in Yangon. The atmosphere of the bedroom, lobby along with ancient wooden furniture and wooden floors (parakeets) is still exactly like 2013. The owner of the Classique Inn and staff welcomed me as friendly as family, and they prepared the same room that I occupied in 2013. Different things is the bathroom. The tiles and accessories have been replaced with new and clean ones. I really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. The atmosphere is quiet and calm, and the sound of birds in the morning is very fitting for those who consider staying to enjoy the quiet and natural atmosphere. The number of rooms and the number of guests is also not too much. Things to consider for a first-time traveler to Yangon is access to the meandering Classique Inn and many intersections from the main road. Even taxi drivers are not familiar with finding and driving to this place. If you want to go out, it's easier now because the road in front of the Classique Inn is good and many taxis pass by. Oh yeah, for breakfast it would be more convenient to have it served in the room. Because the place to eat breakfast in the yard (out door) even though you can enjoy the atmosphere of the morning, but many mosquitoes that make it less comfortable. Unless you want to be prepared mosquito coils.
