Great location

Property was in an excellent location but it doesn’t have elevators and it was on a very uncomfortable second level with narrow stairs, so going up and down was uncomfortable

When we arrived you had to walk up a narrow staircase. The person that checked us in didn’t offer to help with our luggage. The narrow staircase was very difficult to go up with our luggage. I almost fell backwards several times. It was so noisy that it was very difficult to fall asleep through out the night. Around 7 am the noise started even more louder. Monday and Tuesday children were going to school and the noise from them was really bad. When they started school you heard from the floor above us like furniture dragging across the floor. Checking out again no offer to help with our luggage. Would not stay there again. Would not recommend it!

We loved the location of the property. We had arrived early and the room was ready if we wanted to pay extra but we decided not to. The location is what sold the property to us- very convenient as we were only there for one night and wanted to see as much as we could. There’s lots of restaurants and bars nearby as well as little shops and of course the cathedral is opposite and we had a lovely view of it from our room.

The location was ideal. It was very clean, quiet and the owner was friendly. Our room did not have a city view or any real view at all. The window was in one corner with an air conditioning pipe going through it. The toilet had a pump system which was noisy and the shower tray filled very quickly. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Overall it was good but would have been even better if we'd had a window with a view.

Location is prefect but property sound proof is non existing. Very noisy in the morning. The staff and service is disappointing. Informed arrival time but no one was there. Need to message and call but still no reply. Need to wait at entrance for 15 mins. Later was asked to pay cash and said credit card payment not working. When mentioned I don’t have enough cash, the staff requested me to go withdraw cash from machine. Total paid is more than what quoted in Expedia website. And never return change as in assuming “keep the change” although it is not much but should have return the change and only keep it if the guest say so. Overall bad experience

The property is beside the cathedral, with a short walk to the Royal Palace and other sights. The Central Station is about a 10min walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was good. However every morning very noisy as it is right next to a school, where teenagers congregate in the mornings.

I had a great weekend stay. I will say that I booked 2 beds, but was given only one bed. We would have preferred our own beds. Otherwise a nice stay.

The hotel was too far away from any amenities, food and drink expensive. The pool was taped off at certain times during the day for no apparent reason. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel.

I vicini della cattedrale was an amazing bargain - I found it on hotels.com and it was £39 a night including breakfast. We had a huge room, views over the cathedral and gardens, good wifi, lovely bathroom and a great location. All it lacked was a kettle but I guess I'm just too bloody English! The location was superb, everything we wanted to see in the city was within 10 minutes walk and there were loads of cafes nearby. Service was excellent too and I still can't believe what good value it was!

I booked this property but when I arrived at the hotel at 10.00 PM, the door was closed. I called the number on the door. The property owner said that he was out of city and could come in 30 minutes. I waited for the property owner for more than 30 minutes. No body showed up. Then I called customer service and requested cancellation and refund. Although I couldn't stay at the property, the owner of the property did not accept to refund. But, thanks to expedia customer service, they covered my expense. I never recommend the property.

Beautiful position next to th cathedral in Palermo. Very clean & well maintained. The owners/staff very friendly & helpful. Nice to be able to pop back if you needed a break & have use of the kitchen. Only slight downside is that it's underneath a school, so lots of chair scrapping & moving about 8am, but doesn't last too long. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay there again.

Great location and Santo is the best host (owner). Id stay there again.

The location is perfect. My room only had a very small window, so was a bit dark. The bathroom had been renovated, but was not finished,

Le petit déjeuner se fait dans un bar plus loin il n’y a pas de fenêtre avec vu dans la chambre . Notre avion avait du retard nous avons payé un supplément car nous sommes arrivés après 22h . Par contre le patron nous a proposé des taxis ce qui est appréciable

We had two rooms for 5 days. Perfect location in the middle of Palermo. Santos is very friendly and speak English very well. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had the room with the view to the cathedral. Very nice view to wake up to in the morning. We had a rental car and manage to find parking in the surrounding neighbourhood. We had several day trips from Palermo. We can highly recommend to stay here. Did I forget to mention the best ice cream in Sicily is just around the corner. The only thing that we missed in our room was a smal water cooker to make coffee/the in our room. Kind Regards Stolle family 🇩🇰

The place is nice and the location is great. The view on the cathedral is beautiful and the room is clean. The staff is nice, although at first sight they seemed a bit unwelcoming. It was clear they were just busy. Later, they were nice. However, the room needs significant improvement concerning noise isolation. It was impossible to sleep. A lot of voices from people outside. Once they finished there was heavy noise, something like restaurants cleaning up or preparing for the day after and street cleaning. It continued all the night. I think it’s a good place for heavy sleepers. For all the others, I would not recommend it.
