Nice location

The hotel was fine - no real issues with room or the breakfast (other than instant coffee!) The problem here is the staffing and systems in place. I was sent a non vat invoice, I then called several times to try and get a VAT invoice for my employer, usually the phone went to voicemail. On the occasion I did speak to a man he did not get it sorted for me. I spoke to him later in the day and have heard nothing since.

Shower was poor, no pressure and the temperature was too hot

Clean room hotel could do with a little tlc. The mattress could do with renewing. Had a continental breakfast and it was okay but I have had better. Basic cereal yogurt and toast. No fruit, cheese meats or pastries

I reported to the front desk that when I returned from being out, I noted my room door was closed but not locked. I always check after I've locked the door, so I know it was locked when I left. He said he would speak to the cleaner about it (who comes in late morning to empty the bin etc). It happened again another day and I reported it again and explained that when you close the door you must pull it tight (and you hear it click) and then lock with the key, otherwise "locking it" with the key does not actually lock it. He said he would look into it. Sadly it happened again another day. This was very disappointing. The front desk man apologised profusely, he was a nice person and very helpful generally. Apart from that issue, it was a pleasant stay and the hotel was in an excellent location, close to everything and right on the seafront. This is not a "modern" shiny spic-and-span hotel - most of the hotels along the promenade look fairly long in years, but it was clean and everything worked and it was quiet (apart from the seagulls doing their early morning rounds!) and so lovely to be directly across the road from the seafront.

Very clean room amazing comfy bed with a fabulous sea view

The view was very good. We had a sea view. The room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfy. The staff were very good experienced and professional. Nothing was to much. David helped us with checking in and out. He was friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast. Lift a bit shaky.

The beds were very comfortable, but the fixtures in the bathroom could be better. The soap dish in the shower was very rusty and hanging off the wall. The sink taps needed a good clean. I tried using the hairdryer but it hardly had any power to dry my hair and looked unsafe to use as it went bright orange when I turned it on. I did mention this to a member of staff and he said he would bring me another hairdryer but he didn’t

Seafront property with beautiful views of the pier and orme. Very clean and well presented, room was very warm on our arrival and the window didn't open, luckily the room cooled a lot following the closing of the curtains. Comfy bed. Great parking (paid) right outside.

I was in a v.small room which had a fire exit door leading to a fire escape. It had a warning on it not to open it.

In general we were quite happy with our time at the hotel.We had no real complaints.The hotel was very convenient to the town centre.

Rooms clean friendly staff nearby shops and restaurants. Looks a little run down in areas and could do with a bit of maintenance. Used facilities and bar in adjacent hotel that was internally linked as the diner and bar in our side was shut. Lovely cooked breakfast reasonably priced . Don’t worry about the weird noises the lift makes when reaching top floor bounces a bit on arrival. Bath takes a while to fill hot water fine but cold a little low on pressure. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great for a solo traveller, 1 or 2 night stay. The only thing for me was thar the shower was small, and not easy for tall guy who is in their 60's . However, it did work for me.
