We booked this "hotel" as we wanted a bed to lie in and watch tv. But the bed was in a corner where you could only get in and out on one side (so one person had to climb over the other). And the tv was against the wall that you couldnt see from the bed. We also thought more would be around the hotel as it was next to the university, but there was NOTHING around. It was just too quiet of an area for how much they charged for a room.

A very comfortable stay. Easy to go in and out of town on the bus. Pleasant staff and peaceful hotel and surroundings.

Boutique hotel beautifully designed, clean, spacious and love the view out from big window: 🌳 and little trail to walk around. Recommended

Ydalir is a hidden gem in Stavanger in terms of the environment, cleanliness and its staff. Rooms are comfy and well-appointed. Breakfast is considered scrumptious by European standards. Though it is not situated in downtown, it is easily accessible by public transport.

Amazing place! New and modern in design. Tasty breakfast with nice variety, including chia pudding and pastry. Hotel was kind to provide spare toothbrush and paste as we forgot ours. Room was spacious for 3 of us (adults), they use 'Rituals' for soap and shower gel. Everything necessary was in the room with kitchen. Oven, appliances, dishwasher. Highly recommend this property!

Location worked well. Free parking a few hundred meters from the hotel.

Great quiet hotel, excellent breakfast a d clean rooms. Free parking! Downtown area is about 10 min drive.

Quiet and nice location

Perfect stay. The room/ bathroom was top of the scale. Parking just nearby. One of the best stays for sure, highly recommended.

Good location if you want to hike around Stavanger Not in the middle of the city but if you have car then this location will work best for you. Free parking , decent break fast and close enough to the town

The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option.

I really enjoyed the comfy vibe in the room. Bed was very comfortable and enjoyed sleeping there.

A nice place to stay, clean, safe, and great staff. Not many dining options available immediately around the place.

We arrived very late at night and we’re allowed a late checkout. Beautiful hotel. Comfortable room with modern kitchen.
