Warm welcome, clean and spacious room. Lovely breakfast. Shower was very inconsistent and some of the repairs around radiator pipes was a little crude

The room was very dated, with damaged walls, tape holding tv remote together, shower bar was rusty, shower curtain dirty, shower head needed descaling, and overall dusty and tired. The breakfast started well until I discovered the self service bread had mould. I did not complain on the day of departure as reception was not manned. I complained via email and received a reply from General Manager who was full of excuses. It's fair to say I will never stay there again and will warn others.

Parking available, but they had a ballroom function over the easter weekend so car park pretty full. My room 124 had a problem with hot water in shower. Kept on going cold and not working correctly. Did complain to staff following morning who kindly offered to move us to another room. The bed wasn't very comfortable tbh. There is a mini gym there with basic equipment and it did the job. Didn't try breakfast as this was not included in the price. Overall i would rate it as not too bad and will probably stay again if the price is right. Staff were friendly and helpful which helps a lot. 24/7 reception open.

Fantastic stay, amazing to have 3 beds in one room! shower temperature was an issue, ran hot and cold, no in between, flickering light in bathroom, and the window needs attention and replacing, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would 10000% stay again.

Room was very clean , staff were very friendly especially the young guy on reception. He explained where the best place was to watch the carnival. Great with my grandson who was disappointed he didnt get to say goodbye . Hotel is a little dated but didn't ruin our stay. The only moan i have is that the room was very hot and not thermostat.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the Clarks Outlet and High Street. Although a little dated, the room was clean and tidy.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the bedroom was very dated and musty. The separate toilet did not smell good at all. For £150 for the night we expected much better.

We had to book this last hotel last minute due to other property we had booked seeming to be a scam so was looking for anywhere close to stay as already in the area. Hotel is very dated but the staff were very friendly. The room was at the front so very noisy with traffic and as the day was hot had to have all the windows open but the room was also so hot with underfloor heating on in the bathroom and the radiators which could not be turned off. Breakfast was good and again waiting staff very friendly. Hotel just needs a good revamp and the heating situation really does need attention.

Hotel is looking tired, even though recently decorated. Evening menu was very basic (so we ate elsewhere)

We did not stay the hotel is in poor state Did not look good as we pulled up. Going in to the foyer we were dubious but did check in as been on the road for over 5 hours. However we did not put are bags down. The bedding was stained the pillows thin and lumpy. The bath tub had rust in the bottom. The room was smelt like an old train carraige. No upgrade in the 50 years since it was built. We checked straight back out and have requested a refund. I would have been upset to pay £50 per night but it is laughable to charge double. We had to continue our journey to Barnstable to an outstanding hotel called the Park Hotel. Chalk and Cheese is the phrase.
