Our issue with Bedbugs in the unit did not seem to surprise the management staff. The unit we had also requires a deep clean and some fix ups.

Close proximity to everything downtown. Easy check in, however they require a 200$ paypal deposit which they return 7 days after check out. I did have to contact and paypal invoice them to recieve mine back.

GLOBALSTAY are awful. My bedroom had bed bugs. I told them about it Tuesday morning and I'm leaving this afternoon Friday and they've still done nothing about it. Robotic responses and I had to try to fix it through the building workers by myself. I had to sleep on the sofa bed the rest of my days and avoid the bed bug infested bedroom which luckily did not spread. Had to deal with bed bug bites and am leaving Toronto with them. Terrible company. Also took so long to reply to me asking for a late checkout. The only positives are great location, nice gym and building but obviously my unit was not cared for.

Overall, the stay was fine, but I wish I had booked a real hotel. There was a beautiful pool in the residence (I saw the pictures of the pool on the hotel info on Hotels.com, as well), but was not available for "non-residents". We did not feel welcome, at all. Additionally, luggage storage was listed under hotel amenities on Hotels.com, but there was none available, so we had to scramble to find storage last minute. The sofa bed in the living room was absolutely ridiculous, very very uncomfortable. Wish I had booked a hotel where I felt welcome to all amenities, and like a welcome guest. (And with more comfortable beds).

We were told we were in one location and then ended up in another and my colleague and I were in different buildings and it was a bit of a pain to figure out how to get room keys, etc. I won't be doing this again through Expedia for sure. Low budget towels and only 2 towels for a 4 day stay in both rooms, no coffee pods for the keurig, and the elevators were terribly slow.

Check-in instructions don't mention that you MUST check in with security or you can't get onto your floor.

The property was close to the venue we were there for and the views from the property were beautiful. The check in process was a nightmare. Communication with the main # was difficult and then the onsite rep spoke no English which made it very difficult, especially when we ran into issues with security in the building.

This is not a traditional hotel experience, so you know. You have to jump through some hoops to check in and get your room key, then navigate your way in the building, up the elevator and to your room. The instructions from Globalstay give you the basics but there are some things you have to figure out yourself. With that said the overall experience was excellent. I experienced none of the issues other reviewers talked about. The room was beautiful, modern and upscale. It was in the middle of everything Toronto has to offer. You would pay at least twice as much to get a similar hotel room. It was also spotless and fully stocked with sheets, towels, toiletries, etc. Globalstay customer service was awesome. Any text or email was responded to within 3 to 5 minutes and most times within 30 seconds to one minute.

The livingroom 'loveseat' was very small and uncomfortable; the tv was VERY confusing to use and should have had instructions with 2 controlers. there was no plug in the bathtub after a long tradeshow I was hoping to soak... great location overall a good stay and I'd book again

GLOBALSTAY informed me the day before that they are moving us to another location. The building was an additional 1km further making it difficult for one of our guests who has mobility issues. The company did not care and made no effort to compensate us for the displacement (nor meeting their end of the contract). I highly recommend not booking with this company as they do not honour their end of the bargain.

Stayed in apartment for 4 nights in late September, 2024. Positives included: Location. Short walk to convention center, apartment is compact, but has adequate space, grocery store around the corner, close to sports arena. Negatives: Does not have coffee pot; noisy ventilation system; toilet requires that one take lid off tank to reset valve ~ every 4 flushes; remote for TV did not work and I finally figured out how to use my iphone as remote; bed is very......firm and pillows are also of low quality and very firm. Apartment needs some love and attention.

I was traveling to Toronto for a conference and this property was in a great location - close to Union station and the conference center. The apartment itself was overall comfortable and was sufficient for the two days I was there. However, in the main bedroom, the wallpaper is peeling off. The microwave door handle was broken and the microwave did not work. Also, the check-in process was not ideal. You HAVE to follow someone into the elevators to get the elevators to work, as you need to key fob to operate the elevators and you don't get the key fob until you enter the room. This was a bit of a problem as my flight was delayed and I got to the property pretty late, so I had to wait for a bit for someone to come into the elevator so I could get to my room. One last thing, the locking instructions for the door that I was originally provided were incorrect so I had to contact the company to get locking instructions. Pros: the company was excellent at communication and were quick to respond when I contacted them.
