Perfectly good accommodation and a lovely breakfast for an extra tenner each. Street noise and a loud snorer were the biggest bummer. Good value.

Lovey spacious room and excellent bar and restaurant.

Great overnight stay, welcoming staff, room clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, good value, location was central so getting around Chester was easy and we walked everywhere, would stay there again

Find someplace else is my advice. Great location to the Chester Cathedral & that’s the best I can say. Reception couldn’t bother welcoming me, except to hand me my room key. I’m 72 years ago & I had to carry a bag up three flights of stairs with no offer of assistance. The carpet on the stairs & in the hallways is dirty, stained, frayed in places. Room was good size but no outlets to plug in a phone - had to unplug a lamp. No outlets in bathroom to plug in a hair dryer or curler so once again had to unplug a lamp to dry hair - without the aid of any mirror nearby to help style. Finally - bed mattress was so used it was severely concave in the center, making it impossible to sit up & read or watch the minuscule TV on the far away wall - your body just falls to the center of the bed!

The Coach house inn is centrally located, was in a good location to explore chester but may get noisy in the drier months. The room was pleasent enough although it could do with touching up here and there and the shower head needs a de-scale. The mattress in the room requires replacing as it wasnt very springy so after a while was a little uncomfortable. The bar was pretty good although we only used it once.

Central location. Absolutely gorgeous stay the rooms are extremely spacious and clean and staff are so friendly and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food in the bar is outstanding we will definitely be returning

We had an overnight shopping break and stayed at the coach house inn. It was in the middle of the city centre , great location, big rooms with comfy big beds , tv with Netflix and the breakfast was tasty .definately great value for money and would stay here again

The staff, accommodations, the pub, the location was absolutely fantastic! This is a wonderful gem in this beautiful city. Right across from the cathedral and pedestrian town walks. Everything you need is here! The staff are like a big friendly family.

Room large. Had every needed for comfortable stay. On third floor no no noise from pub. Had evening meal and breakfast in pub and was excellent. Would stay again as really good value for stay in Chester

Great location, right next to the town hall. Staff are brilliant and hotel is great value for money. Food and drink is first class.

Clean and comfortable room, polite staff and ideal location right in the centre of Chester. The nearest parking is only a 5-10 minute walk away and costs £8 for 24 hours. Unfortunately we didnt have chance to eat here as we only stayed 1 night and had other plans but the food being brought out to other guests did look great. Would definitely stay again!

Easy check in, great room and excellent location

The room was larger than I expected but a bit outdated, with two single beds pushed together to make a bed (standard practice I know). Bathroom was little bit old, with a shower head that couldn’t be rotated downwards. Rooms were noisy (as described) as room 1 was above the pub and could clearly hear the music until the pub shut. The location is brilliant though, right in the centre with easy walk of everything.

Room was great. Very spacious with a super king bed and three windows overlooking the Christmas Market,which was amazing. Bit noisy with other guests coming in late and banging doors, also woken very early with draymen delivery of barrels of ale.

Our room was big lots of room , roon was very clean spotless, the staff are anazing friendly and helpful. The hotel.is in a perfect location next to town hall and Cathederal.
